I appreciate my ongoing time at Wimbledon Square for multiple reasons. The staff is very informative and communicative about what to expect on a daily/weekly basis. The apartment grounds is in a great location surrounded by grocery stores, city transportation, a beautiful neighborhood to walk through, and it's not far from the city/downtown. For the two times I've had to reach out to maintenance, they were extremely professional and handled the issue at hand greatly. It does get noisy throughout the day due to construction, but it's only during the day and never an issue at night. Due to COVID, I've never experienced the gym, game room, pool, or hot tub, so I can't speak on that, but I do hope to experience those things soon. Overall, I'm enjoying my time here!

This place is horrible. Nice people, but the buildings are trashy, junk everywhere, horrible traffic and parking, super narrow, maze-like pathways and dilapidated or absent signage. This company cuts so many corners. Don’t live here if you have any choice.

I’ve lived at Wimbledon for about a month and a half. So far the experience is great! Jake and Karen were fabulous in answering all of my questions before move in. There were a few maintenance things that needed to be seen to immediately after move in but they were taken care of as promptly as possible. Even when the flooring company (separate from maintenance) messed up, maintenance went out of their way to get it remedied as quickly as possible and succeeded! It’s relatively quiet here and parking, laundry, and trash are close. Just want to clarify a few things I saw in other reviews:

Mold: there’s a fan in the bathroom so as long as it’s used there shouldn’t be a problem. At least I don’t have one.

Faulty wiring on balconies: there’s not even an outlet on my outdoor space so I think they’ve made sure safety was kept up.

Construction: I can hear it but not bad or nonstop. I think it’s good they’re keeping the place updated!

Front staff: excellent

I hope to remain here a long time so long as rent stays reasonable. Thanks Wimbledon staff!

I’m current tenant. Since I’ve been here I’ve had my car towed even tho the fee was paid. Shortly after I moved in I got a notice bc I put my trash outside my door minutes before I was leaving. And today I received a Patio Notice saying I had tires on my patio. I didn’t. This place has been picking with me since I’ve been here. My recommendation don’t move here, you’re lucky to get hot water bc they turn off the water every week, and a bunch of homeless people hang out in the parking garage. IMO horrible management

This has been a wonderful experience. I have never felt so "at home" in a rental before. The neighborhood is enjoyable and safe. Beautiful area and grounds.

The office staff, Olivia and Brittney, were so friendly and helful and answered all of my questions. The grounds were in great shape both clean and maintained. Interiors were spacious and well kept up, the pricing was great for the area. I will definitely be considering this place for my new home and will recommend to my friends and any one else looking for a great home.thanks again for the great tour and friendly service, Joel

I do deliveries to this Apt complex on a regular basis, probably the worst numbering system I have seen. Very confusing and hard to find my clientele. If you order out for food be patient with your delivery person!

This place gets one star because at least our front door locked. Fought with them for 10 months to get our roof repaired. Water was cascading down into my roommate's room all winter and rotted away the drywall and studs. I even got the city involved and they were fined multiple times, including two weeks after we moved out because the roof was still not repaired.

I have lived here since October 2017. Karen Duca, from the leasing office, helped us get into our apartment with no trouble and has always been nothing but professional and kind. When I have had problems and put in a maintenance request in on the website they have been dealt with on the same day. For a complex that has 600 units I feel they do a great job and have always been friendly!

Awful management, complex smells like animal droppings from people not picking up after their pets, stairs and parts of complex always under construction, & way overpriced for what it is. Way better places to rent from in the surrounding neighborhoods.save yourself the pain & money

Wimbledon Square is conveniently located close-in to dt Portland. Surrounded by lush nature, shops of every urban kind, & healthy communities (a beautiful church, free & amazing yoga classes, etc) the amenities are abundant if one chooses to explore them! Also, Olivia Hankinson in the leasing office is super sweet! She is always upbeat, extremely professional, & happy to assist her customers. Id recommend W. S.to anyone looking to rent!

Leasing agent Karen Duca made the move in process a cinch. She stayed with me from beginning to end, from the original showing to signing the leasing documents. Thank you Karen for your continued assistance.

I toured the complex this week and it seems like a lot of the building is being remodeled and updated and a lot of it was really nice. Olivia was great and answered all of my questions- I'd recommend working with her if you're touring or renting!

Every apartment there is just messed up bad in its own way, they run there staff thin so that it takes WAY to long to get anything done. And not to mention it seems that alot of there apartments have raised ceilings which personally it is annoying

Since the beginning of this year, I have had several leaks in my home which I had to fight tooth and nail to get addressed. I had eight holes in my wall for weeks at a time, and it took them over a month from start to finish to diagnose and fix it. There were open holes left right over my food prep area in my kitchen, acting as a hazard. They fought me on it every step of the way, telling me there was no moisture in my home, etc. Once the problem was actually addressed, I had people in my home nearly every day, I ended up cleaning up after maintenance every time they came in, because they couldn't be bothered to clean up after themselves. My water was shut off from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. For two weeks this month, making it extremely difficult to run my household the way I wanted to. The hot tub is shut down half to the time, they are constantly doing construction with very little notice. I work from home a lot, so these things drive me up the wall. I've had to start going to coffee shops during the day, instead of staying comfortably in my own home, in order to stay productive. The community doesn't seem to regard the quiet hours from 10 p.m. - 6 a.m, making it hard to stay asleep most nights. The rent is unreasonably, but it's Portland so is anyplace really affordable? Furthermore I have had the HARDEST time getting a hold of PRIME corporate, they make it deliberately difficult to get a hold of anyone. The leasing office at Wimbledon tries to keep face, but they have zero desire to actually work with tenants or pick up the phone. I strongly encourage consumers to think long and hard before applying to live here, I wish I would have known what I do now before locking myself into this "apartment home".

Already regretted moving here after being here a month. If that isn't bad enough. Construction happening ALL the time. And nothing ever looks improved like you would think since they're always "improving" your living space. Just a bunch of constant noise. Also, witnessed police swarming after a car break in (which apparently happens all the time). Drugged out/drunken creeps sleeping and hanging out in the laundry room. Machines take extra money off your laundry card, so watch your balance carefully.
Everything is super old, so when it breaks (and it will), it will take awhile for them to find parts or come fix it. Scratch that, it'll take awhile for you to even talk to a real person in the office because they're so busy avoiding your calls. When they aren't avoiding your calls, they'll tell you their staff sob story of people being out sick, on vacation, etc. Not my problem, I live here and demand response when there's an issue.
Seriously, don't do this to yourself. Anywhere is a better option!
