WinCo Foods, Grants Pass OR

Came to Oregon to visit my family. Decided to make a Gumbo and WinCo had everything I needed in 1 stop.

Just have to share my experience with Store Manager Ryan. I had the greatest interview today. An actual interview where the manager treats you as a human being. Thank you,

I enjoy every thing about this store except for when you run out of my coffee creamer! Coffee mate. Italian sweet cream but I know it's not your fault!

Zero enforcement of the mask mandate. None. Half of customers refuse masks and are left to parade their indignation. Employees don’t wear adequate face coverings. The manager and employees don’t seem to care, so formal complaints have been made to OSHA instead. Avoid at all costs if you have an ounce of intellect. Absolutely hazardous and stupid.

Overall the prices are very good at WinCo and I'm a shopper so I will usually hit a couple other stores that have a real good bargain on something which they usually do

Wow, impressive fruits & veggies! The Bulk Section can't be beat in Grants Pass. Really fun to shop at WinCo.

No credit cards btw. Cash or debit.

Employee owned makes a big difference in the friendliness of the employees.

We had to come to town to get our 4 (5 pound) bags of Rocket Java. Winco doesn't offer shipping yet. So we only have to come in every few months. Most Winco's have the same layout. The prices now are keeping up with Walmart, Fred Meyer's & Albertson's & Safeway. They do have great deals on certain things and others not so much. The amount of registers open to the customers in line do not match up. It seems like it doesn't matter which Winco you go to there is never enough checkout lines open. Getting credit for your bags is a hit or miss. 5 cents isn't a lot but it is something! No fresh & hot pizza at this one.

They have discontinued so many items I bought. They are out of more than 5 items on my list every time I go. Ask an employee and they say call corporate. The lines are crazy long. This place is far worse than Walmart even. Called the corporate office to complain and they are closed lol. No customer service in any way shape or form.

Despite debit or cash only, I really like this store. Decent prices and lines do not get too long. There is a plethora of options but not overbearing. Prices are much better than Albertsons and Safeway.

I love this store, my whole family does but we will no longer shop here. The woman that is in the self check out area is aggressive, rude, and verbally abusive to customers. The guy that works in that area is amazing and always so helpful, she is the only issue we have with this store. The low prices are not worth being made to feel like trash by an employee.

We shop here often. They have some of the best prices and a decent selection. Our biggest complaint is that they never have enough cashiers on duty. The wait time even for self checkout is ridiculous. Most of the self checkout machines are card only and wont give cash back. They also don't take some major credit cards.

Need to hire competent staff in meat department. Had all their 2 lds ground Turkey under $3.48. There wasnt any other place that showed their real price. The cashier wouldnt honor the price they were set under or above. I think that's the price a company should pay for hiring incompetent employees! I wish I took a pic to post.

I drive an hour to shop here, and it still well worth it for the savings. Great bulk selection and pricing. Much better than Sherm's.

To whom it may concern, I live near winco, less than a mile away. I come here nearly everyday most times twice a day. Before work and after the gym. Whenever I come for the most part, the person attending the self checkout is John, an older man. You see how I can recall his name? He’s so nice, sweet, helpful and pleasant. He thanks me for buying from your store EVERY SINGLE TIME I leave. On the night of 5/30/2019 around 9: 45-9: 50 pm, the cashier attendant (I don’t know her name, I just know she is a heavier set woman with short hair) I am targeted by her. This is my second encounter with her being the cashier attendant and the second time she feels the need to check what I ring up. This time, I ensured that I went to the register directly in front of her so that she can watch me closely (as a customer, I should NEVER have to feel like I should prove myself if I am not doing anything wrong, so why is this employee making me like I am? !) She is extremely rude and is making me reconsider shopping with you all. I wish I notated the last time I came in as she literally got mad that she had a go back as I changed my mind on an item.this time, she watched what I rang up on your computer, READ what I rung up incorrectly, came to me to tell me what I wrong up was wrong! She said I rung up sweet corn and I have an onion. She then looks at my screen and sees that I rung up the item correctly. Really? A 65 cent onion? I am really considering seeking legal council. I am sure your cameras work and they can investigate our encounter this past month. She told the older woman who came for “back up” that she’s never seen me before. I assured her that she has, I just changed my hair, clothes etc. How can she misread what was scanned, press a button for back up, and come to me to tell me I am wrong? That is too much processing in one second, I personally feel as a black “African American” woman that I am targeted by this individual every single time I come in and she is the self checkout attendant. I understand that this is an employee owned company so I probably shouldn’t expect any counsel or even feedback from you all but, if you have any humanitarian consideration in your body I am sure something will be said to her if not done. If not, I will continue once more to come in there, experience another targeted moment and report to a legal council.

The manager was literally yelling and degrading a employee in front of customers.
How unprofessional.

My new one stop shopping spot in GP for all things groceries! Fantastic selection, helpful and friendly employees as well as outstanding prices Always clean and tidy, well faced shelves and aisles you can really tell everyone takes pride and works together here.

Was lit had lots of fun will go again next coupala Tuesdays and Sundays if I get the chance before I'm shipped out to Chad to complete my tour with bono

The store was very clean, well stocked, fresh meat and produce. Checkout was slow, probably new associate.

Clean. Stocked well priced store. Employees are the greatest. I dnt do my food shopping anywhere else

Best shopping EVER! EMPLOYEE owned, Travis in Bulk did is ever the gentleman, Customer Service outstanding and AMAZING prices. LOVE!
