Supermarket WinCo Foods reviews
20Just waited inine 20 minutes! Our ice cream is melted. Management needs to pay attention and get more registeres open. I have never had to wait so long at a grocery store on a Tuesday night
Nice deli foods. Forgot they don't let you pay with credit card.debit or cash.small panic moment at cash register.
Can I ask what the intent of policing the self-checkout line is? I had 17 items and was turned away when there were exactly zero people in line or using self checkout. I would understand if it was holding up a line, but it wasn’t. Is the intent just to waste my time and burden cashiers? That’s all that is accomplished.
Cheap food prices, quality food, and other household items! Always shop here first for groceries, you'll get the most for your piggy bank.
A 42$ roast was stolen out of my cart after I paid for it. When I asked customer service for help I was told "too bad" you are out the 42$. Nothing we can do. I was treated so poorly that next time I will shop elsewhere. It's sad that a young lady and an older gentleman in charge get to dictate the entire store. Thanks slot WINCO
Love WinCo prices but this WinCo's layout is terrible. The organization of the store seems poorly thought out. The produce sometimes is poor quality too. I mean it's WinCo and the prices are great ya know, but just this one is not the best I've seen.
Friendly staff, suuuuuppper cheap, as a person that gets food stamps I've saved alot. Some prices that caught my eye the first time I went shopping there was the yogurt, seafood and all your basics like eggs bread and milk. Super family friendly. A plus is that you don't have to have a member ship and they sell in bulk which is nice. I like. I like it alot and so does my wallet. Good place.
Winco is open 24/7 and although they don't carry all the grocery items I want or use, they do have a great selection and their prices on most items are less than their competitors in the area. They have an adequate size parking lot with handicap parking and access.
I'm generally pleased with the store, however, I've learned not to buy bulk nuts there. I recently purchased chopped walnuts, which turned out to be rancid. I'm wondering if they just keep adding to the dispenser without clearing out those that have obviously expired.
The store is always clean and well stocked, staff is kind, non grocery items as well so you can grab cat litter and such.
Good enough place for shopping, but I have a complaint. My husband spent almost a month trying to get secured for an interview and despite them hiring him for an overnight position, the scheduled him for a morning orientation thing. So he ended up about ten minutes late to it after going as fast as he could and they say they can't continue with the process because of some f-ing "company policy". So we will not be shopping there for now, possibly forever.
I went to WinCo for the first time yesterday and while I was happy there weren't a million people there, and that the selection of items was good, check out proved to be strange. I had some riced cauliflower and the clerk kept mentioning "you know you can make this yourself". I said that I prefer to buy it and didn't have the time to prep that sort of thing, then she just kept at it saying, "but you can save money. " bla bla bla. You know, I am over 50 years old and I'll be damned if I am lectured by a 25 year old girl at the check out. Employee owned huh? I am not impressed. Back to Walmart! By the way, the check out lines were way too long as well.
Been shopping at WinCo Corvallis for my whole life, finally checked out the one in Albany. Definitely impressed, super spacious, so many staff on standby to help out. Bunch of check Lanes open for super fast payment, basically no lines. Also Fresh sushi bar as well. Pleasantly surprised.
Always a nice place to do our grocery shopping. Well laid out and clean. Convenient location right near the I-5 on ramp.
I love WinCo. So glad there is one in Albany. I member it was before WinCo, it was Cub Foods and Waremart. Love the service and the prices. My son worked for them in the Warehouse. Touph job. Thank you to the warehouse workers, awesomeness job.
Thank you all for your work.
I love the from WinCo it is always fresh amd delicious. Plus for a California combo sushi box it's only 9$ rounding up. Great deal.
Love it! Great prices, great quality, great staff. Please please when you shop there put your cart at the end of the check out like the diagram shows. (Front of cart touching bagging area).
Best WinCo experience ever. Had a little trouble with finding a few things. It was my first time at this location. Lots of new electric handicapped carts. Better than both Salem locations. I'm going to go there again.
They offer check cashing - teller wouldn't cash my direct work check because it "has to have your address right on the check" I have the whole printed work stub with my address but aparappare that with my ID was not enough. Never heard of this before and I cash them every two weeks at Walmart.
The only complaint I have about the Albany WinCo is they don't accept credit cards. I have an awesome rewards card and have to do most of my grocery shopping elsewhere. I love their fresh produce and seafood selection. It's almost impossible to beat the prices.
