Wings & Waves Waterpark reviews
20Great value and location. Very unique experience with the slides coming out of the plane. Very dirty though! Scrub the black scum off the white tiles in the pool areas and clean the ledges that line the staircase that are full of dust, trash and old hair bands and I’d give it five stars. The guy standing in line with us called it a hair tie graveyard.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
This place has really gone down hill. Very dirty and in need of repairs.
I saw maybe 1,000 old hair ties lining the windowsills on the way up the stairs to the slides.
Lots of unsupervised children rough housing. Witnessed teenagers in the wave pool grabbing chests and making out on floats, with young children all around.
When the life guard was alerted, Andrew, did absolutely nothing and took the side of the inappropriate teen couples.
A manager was called over and they were"talked to". This behavior continued, and the teens were not removed.
VERY DISGUSTING.
A lawsuit is inevitable for this place, if it hasn't already happened!
The only place Oregonians can swim indoor year round with water slides, wave pool, kids water zone and much more. Plan to get wet.
Just a lot of people there and a bit pricey but the slides are fun and the floors are clean.
We had a nice time. Kids loved it.
The cost of food is ridiculously high and you can't bring your own. Example: hot dog meal included a hot dog, small bag of chips and a large drink for $14.
I visited Waves and Wings Waterpark recently and, well, it's a bit like "Waves and Waits. " While the slides were cool, the overall experience left me wanting more. For the price, I expected something truly enchanting, but it fell short of my expectations. If you're seeking thrilling slides, you might find better value at West Edmonton Mall.
This place is great! It has a wave pool for the little ones, small, medium, and large slides, a Jacuzzi, and a water jungle gym. It really has everything for kids of all ages. The cafe also has good food.
Came here for the husband's birthday today and had a great time. The waterslides we would give 5 stars and the best part of our experience for sure. Our server Cole was friendly and checked on us throughout our stay today. Give him a raise because he provided outstanding service! The cabanas were great and I recommend getting one as it's so loud in there and lots of unsupervised kids running around so it's nice to have your own tent to relax in. One of the other servers like the ones who have to escort your alcohol to you she was not as friendly and kept walking by our tent to monitor us like a hawk for my husband drinking his one beer. Only other downside is the beer is not worth the $11 a cup if I'm being honest, there was tons of foam and carbonation as if the machine it comes out of needed to be cleaned. Not the employees fault but hopefully the owners will invest the money they are making off of people to instill better cleaning practices and clean up some of the mold as well.
We have been going here and you will leave for the last 7 years. It's much more expensive now that ownership has changed hands. They did however make an exception because we came as a party of eleven and one of our relatives was visiting from Michigan and we forgot their ticket. Even though they were at full capacity they made an exception and let our relative in. That was really great. Plus it's free for kids 3 and under
Great place for kids to enjoy water play
Very friendly staff. Overall the place is clean
However, there are a few places where I think that can do a better job cleaning the pool floor, sides
Needs a parent elevator to get to the top of slides it's alot of stairs an if your out of shape like many of us parents are definately limited me to how many times I climbed to the top to use the slides
We came here for my son's 11th bday! Had an amazing time! Wish we would be able to get more than 1 bracelet per locker but it's whatever.other than that we had a great time
Myself and my two teenage boys loved it! Exceeded my expectations on many levels. Will definitely go back!
Horrible customer service and website.drove 2 hours to be told we can't get in because of a small p ivate event that they failed to put on the website
This place completely changed my opinion on water parks. Maybe because it’s inside? It awesome and we’re looking forward to returning.
I rented a cabana and was not told it was first come first serve, then I was told you had to reserve certain ones online and that was not an option when I reserved it. I had to walk up 2 flights of stairs with my children. Also the server/ helper for the cabana never came over once to ask if we needed anything. Save your $65 and get chairs
Ran by some of the least empathetic and rudest people they could find. Drove for 1.5 hours and was told they were sold out never said anything on their website about it. One of the managers literally said, " I dont care, I put my two weeks in and I have 3 days left". They then told me to leave because having a simple conversation was too much for them to handle. I asked for the GMs name and they told me they wouldnt give it to me:)
Updated: If you're a veteran expecting to be able to purchase a ticket at the door using their advertised veterans discount be warned, they will turn you away at the door saying they're full, even though we arrived at the door by 9: 35AM and we're first in line outside. There is no method of using your veterans discount online either. Very shady, and now I've got a disappointed kiddo over it all.
Previously: Lots of fun for the kiddos and adults, but it's starting to show some lack of maintenance in the locker rooms (mold on the ceilings, broken dryers and swimsuit spinning machines) and parts of the building (paint chipping, rust runs on metal brackets, broken portions of the water park, etc)
The water park was very expensive and had no system for seniors or young children to cost less. Along with the high price they packed the place really full. Maybe with less people, it would have felt like a better deal. In addition to the above, there was a lot of mold/ mildew the edges of the wave pool. Again, quality over quantity would have been appreciated.
We have been coming here for years. For the kids - this can't be beat. Things have changed though. Now the plebs sit in chairs with views obstructed by cabanas complete with mosquito netting and a cover - everything one would need for an indoor water park. Renting a double tube is gross but unless your kids/friends want to go it alone you'll pay up. The kids working here have always looked miserable (which I get) and the lifeguards are always excellent. If you don't like wet toilet seats and stepping on unidentifiable mush then don't go to a shared pool. That said, I agree with the other reviews, a deep cleaning might help with the intermittent stairwell vomit odor and the muck on the glass panes. Views from the top are stellar, safety is clearly paramount, kids spend the full 4 hrs playing and the cost for an online ticket is reasonable-ish. I left feeling disappointed by the (perhaps necessary) cash grabs but my kids were blissed out. Overall, a win.
