We had such a good experience with Wonder Puppy! The training was effective and not overly complicated. Matt made it all feel very approachable for us and for our puppy! We loved going to class every week and developing a stronger connection with our puppy! I would recommend Wonder Puppy to anyone!

My dog went through Good Puppy & was starting Great Puppy. (She unfortunately had to get multiple knee surgeries & now is more than aged out.) I am a “dog person” through and through but there is nothing like going through the puppy stage again! Having the support of the trainers to guide our way to success is monumental. The skills we’ve learned have given us everything needed in having a great relationship. Thank you Wonder Puppy! We had Matt & Christina as trainers, I have nothing but great things to say about them.

Such a positive, supportive place for puppies and their human parents. They really take the time here to get to know you and your puppy, and are willing to go above and beyond with extra help and tips. I just completed Good Puppy class with Christina and would highly recommend her, but from my experiences so far with other instructors in the Social Puppy sessions I can say everyone who works at WP is awesome!

We absolutely loved our experiences at Wonder Puppy! The staff is incredibly patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. We expected to leave class with a better behaved pup (which we did!) but ultimately left feeling equipped as trainers ourselves! Our dog, Coava, loved her trainer Matt and so did we!

Great place. Mat is awesome but the whole staff is caring and thoughtful too. I’m glad I took my fur baby here, she has developed wonderful into a playful adolescent dog after her puppy kindergarten classes.

We have had a wonderful experience at Wonder Puppy! Our puppy, Oscar, recently graduated from the Good Puppy class. Katie Van Raden is an amazing instructor! She is a true expert, and it was inspiring to see how easily she connected with our Oscar, and how much he loved learning. We also learned so much and had fun attending every class! I would highly recommend Wonder Puppy for anyone who wants to embrace the puppy experience!

Wonder Puppy was a wonderful early age playgroup socialization solution for our family. Matt, Christina and all of the team were very knowledgeable, mindful and fun. We love that playgroups were organized by puppy size, as our little girl had a blast at the Tiny Tykes group. Our Occy learned new tips each visit and met cute puppy friends. If you want people who are passionate and knowledgeable about dog training, Wonder puppy is the place to go. I've had dogs for over 30 years of my life and the new positive reinforcement approach that Wonder Puppy teaches has been a game changer.
Katie was fabulous in helping set a good foundation for our puppy with her Good Puppy training. Loved how she worked with our dogs personality and understood her little quirks! While this was a group training, Katie found a way to make it personal and give us 1-1 attention when we needed it. She mentioned a Tricks class that I would love to see happen!

Katie, Cristina, Matt and Casey were all fabulous during our social puppy sessions. I highly recommend people attending as many social puppy sessions as possible before you hit 20 weeks.

Out little buddy, Oscar, had such a great time and experience in Wonder Puppy's introductory puppy class, "Good Puppy". He loved his teacher, Katie, and he always worked hard to be the "teacher's pet". Each week he looked forward to learning from her. My wife and I found the lessons to be easy to follow, to build on each other, and to give guidance on what the next steps would be.

Katie is incredible! She has a depth of knowledge about training young animals that gave us guidance and helped us understand the developmental mindframe of our puppy. We loved learning with and from her almost as much as Oscar did. If you are hoping to raise a "wonder puppy", we would highly recommend Wonder Puppy, and especially taking classes with Katie.

I can't say enough good things about Wonderpuppy's Good Puppy class. Terri helped us enjoy the journey of early puppyhood, teaching us the fundamentals in bite-sized, actionable pieces. Bones LOVED learning from her, and the two of them formed a special bond. As brand new puppy parents, this class was an absolute lifesaver, giving us the structure we needed to raise a sweet, calm, happy pup. You get far more than what you pay for with Good Puppy if you put in the work. We are already signed up for Great Puppy (Level 2) and can't wait to get started:)

Wonder Puppy is a great place to start off with your new addition. Early socialization is a huge priority for young puppies as this will set the foundation for them for the rest of their lives. This is not my first dog and I can honestly say Wonder Puppy had the best puppy-social classes I have ever been to. Being able to be an active part of the process was valuable to me because I was able to get to know my puppy, her play style, what she needs to work on and how to do it. It was a safe, fun environment with lots of guidance and thought put into each session. No two sessions were the same and my puppy and I were able to interact with a wide range of other puppies of different temperaments, play styles, shapes and sizes. All of the trainers were knowledgeable and fun to work with. Wonder Puppy also has a range of training classes that can help guide you and your puppy in the right direction. Raising a puppy can be a whirlwind experience and it is over before you know it. Make sure to make that time count!

We just finished the Good Puppy series and it was worth every penny! The instructor Katie was amazing! She was so kind, patient, and met everyone where they were. It was invaluable to develop a way to communicate and bond with our puppy. We also did several of the social classes and my puppy has a blast there! Overall, it's been such a great experience that we're going to keep it going with the Great Puppy skills class next.

Puppy Social classes have been an amazing environment for our new puppy to gain confidence and meet other dogs. It’s also been such a game changer for me - I am learning the skills I never knew I needed to be an advocate for my dog and her relationship with other dogs. As recent migrants to Portland, we don’t know many puppies to socialize ours with, but once I came to this class, I realized it was just as much about learning how to socialize a puppy so they can explore their world fear-free than it is just meeting other puppies.

Our puppy social experience was so great that we ended up signing up for the good puppy classes. Once again, this is arguably even more valuable for my husband and I than it is our puppy because we’re really learning the skills beyond basic “cues” that lead to success with our dog.

The volume of resources Terri provides to her students to leverage outside of class has allowed us to dig into areas we were struggling with and have actionable steps we can take to build better habits for our pup and prevent unwanted behaviors before they become habits.

Our time at Wonder Puppy always ends up being a highlight in my day, and I’m very grateful to all the amazing people here who have helped us better understand and connect with our puppy.

Wonder Puppy is Wonderful! We had a fantastic experience during Terri's classes. She was knowledgeable, helpful but also very dedicated to all students and their families. The method they teach works really well, and we all (2 humans and 1 beagle) learned a lot from it. Also, everyone wonder puppy employee we came across was so helpful and kind!
