Woodblock Chocolate reviews
12Such a lovely & local place! Amazing chocolate and atmosphere, would highly recommend visiting
Their drinking chocolate is perfect (sweet but not too sweet and has the dark chocolate flavoring)
Bought some chocolate cacaos and they were really good too, perfect to snack on:)
Hands down, no competition, the BEST chocolate I’ve ever had. I can’t have dairy and their single origin varieties are fruity, floral, earthy… just amazing.
I've been wanting to try sipping chocolate since my visit to Spain in 2007, but to no avail till i came to Woodblock. SCORE! Finally. It was great!
$5 half-cup of drinking chocolate. It was tasty, but wasn't to my taste. Seems like they're very serious about their artisan chocolates.
Didn't seem super knowledgeable and only a small selection of products. Disappointing.
I bought the 10 bar chocolate tasting box and what a great way to try everything. There were a few bars I was pleasantly surprised by and wouldn’t have picked up myself like the milk chocolate that tasted like toasty toffee!
The European drinking chocolate wasn’t to my taste because it was much more fermented than I’m used to!
Had a delicious time with some delicious chocolates! One of the kiddos didn't like how bitter the sipping chocolate was but the other enjoyed it a lot. There was no chocolate making when we went.
They also have a small seating area but accommodated the 5 of us and 3 other people who came in after us.
I bought some of their little chocolate bar box and was good too. One of the other patrons ordered wine with her chocolates.
Very charming place.
Pretty good hot chocolate and definitely a cute little shop. Like the other reviews this felt too much like a wine bar when we were just looking for some chocolate. Interesting mix, cute environment and nice to support local. I’ve honestly had better hot chocolate elsewhere- sorry!
Definitely a nice vibe inside and staff was very friendly. However was a little underwhelmed by the menu as a whole. Just so folks are aware this is more of a wine bar then a chocolate or coffee spot. Assumed they would have tea or coffee on the menu, or at least a few more hot chocolate drinks.
It mostly consists of wine, chocolate bites, and drinking chocolate which while good, is a lot to pay for a little cup of liquid. Nice place but probably won’t rush back just because I would have loved a little more option.
It has a really sour smell, not what you would expect.
The staff never greatest us, she was on her phone and playing with her YETI, we walked out.
