My parents have a time share through Wyndham and stayed here. The rooms are great! View was beautiful of the Willamette River and the city skyscrapers.

At any Wyndham resorts I've stayed at with my parents the staff are always kind! At this one I noticed anytime we'd leave, a staff member would greet and say "have fun! " Or "have a great time you guys! " And when we'd get back they'd say "welcome back! " And ask how our time out was. Very caring people!

I also love their vallet system!

Great location close to everything. Kiki and Abby were amazing and extremely helpful. The only thing missing was a pool and a hot tub.

The best service out of any hotel, resort! Mekenna the manager is so kind and friendly super helpful, amazing with kids! We really appreciate everything she did for us! She deserves a raise she did an absolutely fantastic job! We played Yatzee and she got us a Trophy for the winner! She was just so kind we seriously had an amazing time because of her! The rooms were also awesome! There is free coffee and hot cocoa and pastries in the morning and cookies at night! It’s seriously a great night and amazing trip so far!

SERVICE & CHECKIN
Checkin here is inherently lengthy due to the feature overview & different guest systems.
Normally I abhor slow checkins, but I'd sit through this one twice bc the stay is worth the wait!
Consistent, professional, & personable service at every level, including phone service.
Emily was incredibly fluid & thorough in covering the amenities.
Special s/o to the Doorman as well (the real MVP)!
Free early checkin.
Free 1 hour late checkout.

LOBBY, ELEVATOR, CORRIDORS
The building is very unassuming but the design & aesthetic inside was nicely curated.
The lobby was pristine, lux, & appropriately decorated for Halloween. Very fun & lively at various hours.
Elevators were spacious, just a tad slow.

ROOM (suite)
https://youtu.be/IaOc_jye0Eo
Large, clean, modern suite with.everything.
They hit all the functional marks
Good Lighting:
Functional windows:
Comfortable Seating:
Tabletop space:
Closet + drawer storage:
Performant AC + fan:
The tile could be cleaned better or more frequently.

BED
No complaints-we slept like royalty!
The duvet was excellent: cozy, fluffy, warm & fresh.
A+ mattress: good support & firmness
A+ linens: soft & clean
A+ pillows: right-sized, nice density

BATH
A medium-large restroom space featuring a modern design & traditional fixtures.
The combinations shower-tub delivered great water pressure. I really enjoyed the hand showers in their accessible rooms too.
Towels were fresh & clean. The bath robes (available by request) were underwhelming; interesting pattern & light, but the texture didn't add value.
Various toiletries were provided & there are plenty more available by request downstairs.
Grout lines have seen better days & are in need of a touch up.

TV & ENTERTAINMENT
Unmounted ~40" FHD Samsung flat screens primed for streaming.
These models are older, but picture quality isn't an issue & have full compatibility with Google TV.
Ports were easily accessible & the universal remote interoperability was solid.

WI-FI & CELL RECEPTION
An unencrypted network & a clunky over-engineered registration portal. Every beautiful thing has 1 flaw & this would be it.
QoS is well-tuned tho & throughput was adequate for remote work + multi tasking
Good proximity to towers for consistent 5G-5Guw speeds (Verizon).
-Performance-
Video streaming - good
Online gaming - great
Video chatting - great
-Nerd Stats-
12-20 Mbps download

FOOD & DRINK
Sadly, contactless (DoordDash) delivery is a no-go. But, unlike most hotels, the staff were incredibly helpful w/locating deliveries.
There's a restaurant on-site but no room-service so we didn't explore this. Not a big deal bc the kitchenette was fitted with a full size fridge, microwave, stove, cookware, & clean dishes. Great inventory for an extended stay. The pantry downstairs has additional appliances if needed (air fryer, etc).

NOISE
Peaceful atmosphere & quiet patrons.
The unhomed are still as rambunctious as ever, but weren't a significant source of noise pollution & only an issue if facing the street.

LOCATION
The concierge did an AMAZING job at giving us a lay of the land. We're very familiar with the surrounding area, yet my tiny spiel here wouldn't do it justice; so talk to Ace-you're in good hands!
They provide plenty of navigational resources with very solid recommendations.

VERDICT
Competitively priced:
Exceptional service & hospitality:
Comfort, high quality, convenient:
. I regret not staying longer.
But they went above & beyond to earn my business & you won't be disappointed.
An overwhelmingly high recommendation.
5/5 ️

A wonderful place with a kind, friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the ice and water machine in the Pantry on the main floor. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. Gabriel was great!

A few notes:

The murphy bed is a failed experiment. Super squeaky and not near as comfortable as a regular bed. The room would accommodate a regular queen bed so the murphy bed felt unnecessary.

Downtown Portland isn't as vibrant as we had hoped, but we felt safe as we walked around the area. There are many empty storefronts so expect to walk to points of interest rather than wander. There aren't stores around the hotel to pick up last minute items.

We rented a car from Enterprise just a few blocks away and parked in the lot directly north from the hotel. $20 a night rather than $45 for hotel valet. Just make sure you take all belongings out of the car.

Beautiful waterfront park across the street but old neighborhood behind. Good clean accomodations. High pressured to attend sales presentation.

Lots of add on costs, like Wi-Fi, parking $$$, no on cite restaurant, small convince store.

Staff great. Location great. Portland has become a mecca for homeless tents and addicts. So very sad how dirty, smelly and scary areas have become. Kells Irish Bar, Ravens Manor fun places to go. The theater was understaffed so no services or food and drinks.

My wife and I chose a studio, which was very nice and clean, but I didn't understand why they had a couch placed right in front of the Murphy bed! So we had to move the couch in order to use the bed! I didn't expect to be lifting couches like a furniture mover in order to go to bed! SMH

Overall very nice. Ask for a bed topper if you have a Murphy Bed. Park in the lot at Pine and Naito for $20 per night and buy yourself a Club for theft prevention. A+ on shower head, sheets, kitchenette, terrace, bathroom. C on couch and timeshare soliciting, B- on bed. There is no adequate place to work in the efficiency studio units.

Rooms were okay, bed was uncomfortable. Typical studio, but in order to use the murphy bed we had to move the heavy couch out of the way first. If my 70 yr old mom came here alone, there is no way she could move it herself. Having a kitchen was great though with a studio. No pool or hot tub, but that's okay. All in all good.

It's an OK hotel. It was clean.
The location is nice, but don't wonder too far away due to the homeless. You Will get harassed.
Parking can be a challenge. Be sure to remove all of your valuables, or use their valet service for $45 per night.which is what we did.
The front desk employees were confused about checkout time - it's 10am.

Near the water and close to transit so it’s easy to get around! I was going to the convention center most days and it was a short ride, around 15 mins. Some of the other comments are valid in that there are homeless people around, though they generally leave you alone and are respectful. Overall a great place to stay and I’d happily come back!
