Very professional and very happy with this company. Courteous prompt and responsive. Would highly recommend.

These guys never pickup the call. I have called them four times over the last week. Once someone picked up and said he will call back, and didn’t. No response whatsoever. Such carelessness is good enough for me to look for somewhere else, don’t care if I have to pay extra elsewhere. I wonder how this place has higher rating - how many of these reviews are fake?

We used Xcelent Concrete second time and we are very happy with the work. They replaced our old retaining wall. They framed and pour everything as per our requirement. Five star again Xcelent. Highly recommend.

I wish I can do leave 6 stars. Xcelent did amazing job on our driveway. They are very professional and absolutely fair price. Their crew is very courteous and hard working. When we need concrete work in future, we definitely calling Varun again.

I had scheduled two appointments with them. First time the estimator went onsite and talked to one of the tenants and didn’t bother to wait for me onsite or call me. I rescheduled a second appt and deliberately asked to be called upon arriving onsite and to not talk to the tenants. No one showed up, no one called me and no one emailed me back. Bad scheduling service and lack of communication. They clearly do not respect your time.

These guys bid the job quickly, were very reasonably priced, I didnt have to wait long before my job was scheduled and they did great work. I will definitely use them again.

Had a great experience. I needed concrete for a patio poured and stamped and they were able to accommodate me quickly and professionally. I also had a stormdrain that I needed them to make a removable piece to uncover if city maintenance is needed

Xcelent Concrete was professional, timely and above all a great value for our concrete patio work. With contractor pricing getting more and more ridiculous every day, it was refreshing to get solid work at a fair price.

The work and the price were excellent. Very pleased with the completed project. They built large oversized concrete steps and a concrete pad in the back! Love my new yard.

We had a wonderful experience with this business. After getting our old deck torn out, we wanted to replace it with a stamped concrete patio and stairs. Within two weeks of contacting Varun, the entire project was complete (with the actual work only taking two days). They listened to what I was wanting and made adjustments to fit that vision. We are very pleased with our new patio and will definitely hire them for any future concrete projects. Highly recommend!

The crew did an excellent job installing a backyard patio and redoing our front sidewalk. They showed up on time each day and worked diligently all day performing a very conscientious job that was also well supervised. Communication was excellent when expressing our needs. My experience with Xcelent concrete was not great. At least to the standards they claimed to set for themselves.

I went with Xcelent concrete because the rep (Varun) told me during our estimate meeting that there Company is not the cheapest and not the most expensive but they will not let customers hanging and they have top notch service.
I believe him at the time, and I've contracted services from Xcelent concrete for building a walkway from side of my home to my backyard, even though the company bid was $1000 more expensive than other quotes that I received for the project.

Previously my walkway was a gravel and other the years the gravel washed away and got mixed with dirt underneath requiring constant weeding. So, I though to just replace it with concrete.

When I first contacted Xcelent concrete for estimate and signing the bid, they were super responsive, emailing me even at 9pm at night to respond to my emails. However, after the contract was agreed upon and project started, it was nearly impossible to get hold of Varun. Tried calling the number provided at least 5 ~ 6 times, never got through
a call. I would leave email, which will only get responded after few emails.

The worst part was failing to keep certain plan promises.
After the dig and concrete poring which happened in the same day (which was great), the crew was supposed to show up the next day for removal of the wood frames, The crew did not show up the next day, I've tried calling the rep but all the calls did not go through. I was able to reach the company over email, the rep apologized for being out of town and not reachable and confirmed the crew will be at my home the next day (3rd day of the project). The on the day the crew was supposed to be, also did not come. Basically left me hanging for two days. Tried calling again without success, and finally was able to make contact through email, and got a phone call directly from the crew telling me they will let me know in about 20 min on whether the crew will be able to make it to my home or not. I waited for an hour, before I tried reaching out, which I finally got through only to know that the crew is not coming and had to reschedule for another day.
The 3rd attempt for removal of the wood frames, one crew came by to remove the frames, everything else looked ok, but the crew forgot to remove two small wood pieces. I tried removing me myself but it really stuck. I left a email to rep asking for the crew to come by to remove the remaining wood frames, but no responses since.

Edited: Xcelent concrete reached out to me 2 weeks after my last correspondence (and after they seen my review posted) to get the last wood frame pieces out.

I blame only myself since I had already paid them in full. After the company had received all of my payments, basically ignored my requests.

Overall, the concrete services itself was ok. However, I don't I believe I received the customer handling service that was marketed. The rep was only extremely responsible until the project got started and they received the initial payment. After that basically the company leave you hanging on the dry. Not sure if the overall services received was the worth the extra $1000 that I paid for.

We had a great experience working with Xcelent Concrete. After contacting them for an initial bid, they got back to us right away and we were on the schedule within a month. The price was reasonable and they finished the job quickly. We weren't even sure exactly what shape and concrete stamp we wanted but they had some good ideas and helped with the whole process. Very happy with the outcome and would definitely hire again for future projects.
