Food was ok, service was not bad, but the portions are too large, and the Mapo Tofu doesn’t look like real Mapo Tofu

We ordered Fried Shrimp for an appetizer. Generously sized shrimp, crispy and fresh. We ordered General Tao's Chicken and Twice Cooked Pork from the main menu. Steamed rice and soup accompanied the mains. We tried the Hot and Sour soup - very good and chock full of crispy veg and silky tofu.

This place is awesome, all the foods are delicious! I especially love the Broccoli and the Special Chow Dun is AMAZING! I highly recommend this cuisine to everyone.

Hit and ready called in order fried rice tasted great. General tso chicken, mandarin chicken and sweet n sour chicken tasted great.

Bad customer service, they messed up my order and when I called they told me I was wrong. When I didnt get what I ordered.

On 2/23/20, I took my family to have lunch and for some reason later that day my son and I were throwing out the food. Something that we ate was not fresh nor good to be consumed. Probably they reheat the food over and over and it gets bad and still serve it to the customers. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. My son had to miss a day of school and I missed a work day. I was about to call Food Safety and Inspection to address this issue.

The service was good and the food was great I will definitely be going there again and I will also recommend it to my friends

I've been coming here For 6 or 7 years and they are as polite and fresh as ever. Great quality for the price, the best you're going to find in Salem that still allows combination meals and special requests. Theyve never messed up one of my orders or made me feel like they were too busy to serve me. Love supporting this business! Good food, great price. I love that I can make up my own combo from the list of items on their menu. Other places charge you extra if there's something on their plates you don't like. Very accommodating to their customers.

Inexpensive and a lot of food. The food was alright and it also seems like they are understaffed.

This place is really good for what it is. Probably the best Chinese food in Salem. It has menu items that are familiar and is basically just like every other Chinese food restaurant but the flavors are different. I believe they use fresher ingredients than others. The rice actually tastes like a side dish instead of just rice and peas and carrots.that doesn't even sound good. Anyone who stops in here shouldn't be disappointed.

Everything's amazing, Food's served fast and fresh. It's always clean, me and my family go there often.

You can not beat the food or the price. The quantities are huge. If we don't share the combo plate we take enough for another meal home. So reasonable and so delicious.

Best Chinese restaurant in Salem, great prices, fantastic food, and even better portion sizes! Yan Yans is truly a hidden gem, and one of my favorite places to eat at. Good for first dates, their delivery is just as good, and I will be sure to eat here for years to come!

I love yan yan. Back when i lived about a mile from them id go on a fairly regular basis. They remembered what i liked and gave me free soup. They were very nice and have good food.

Great prices, great plates, and great location. Definitely a place to check out to see if it meets your needs.

Good places to grab lunch (lunch special is good and inexpensive). Food always comes out hot and tasty, but if getting everyone's food at the same time is important to you maybe not the best place for you. All plates come out when they are ready (which I like), but better to understand that going in and expect it than get all offended when it comes out separately.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Salem, with generous portion sizes and fair pricing. The service is great, always taking care of you and always include additions into my take away orders. My go to for Chinese in North Salem and Keizer.
