I was a camper here over 50 years ago. Things have changed for the better. Still, I have good memories of this place.

I went to Camp Collins on a field trip with my science class, for 5 nights and 6 days. It was such an amazing experience that I'll never forget and always look back on, with such positive memories:) The cabins that we stayed in were very cute and sort of looked like hobbit holes! (we even had a bathroom build into the cabin) The food was surprisingly good, and instead of all of us individually lining up to get food with a tray, there were student helpers that would get bowels of the food and bring them over to the table we were sitting at. Then as a table we would pass the bowels of food around to one another. Most of the staff were really nice/helpful! Once you get assigned a cabin, you also get assigned a student leader, who basically chaperones your cabin. (the student leaders are highschool students) I got one of the best student leaders and she was SO cool! <3 One of the staff members kept on singing the "Peaches" song/playing the YouTube video of it, so my ears did bleed for about 10 hours! But other then that, Camp Collins is a wonderful place to go! For the first 2 nights, I was feeling extremely homesick, but then on the second day I made a phone call to my parents which made me feel a lot better! (by the way, in Oregon, every 6th grade class goes to outdoor school for FREE on this trip for 5 nights and 6 days! Sorry if I got any of the information wrong!)

I went to camp Collins for outdoor school with my math class for five days and six nights. I cannot explain how much I love this place and how welcomed they made me feel, we had high-school student leaders in our cabins with us and I have never felt so loved by a high-schooler in my life. Everyone has cute and cool nicknames and their own special thing, my student leaders were Noodle, Azalea, and Miso Soup. They cabins were very, very comfortable and homey, although the beds were a little hard, I enjoyed them. We had campfire every night for about an hour with skits, songs, dances, laughs, smiles, and love. The food was great, if you were vegan they had vegan options and a salad bar, you had dessert after every meal besides breakfast.
After you were done eating you would go to your cabin meeting spot which you pick out on the first day. On the second day we learned what field study was, which every group (a, b, c, and d) would attend each field study once. You get to earn beads and little gizmos for basically having fun! After field study they give you time to meet up with your class and get to do fun activities. They give you what's called "cabin time" to regroup with your cabin and just relax and have fun. Then you would eat your meal and go back to your cabin.then you would go to bed and wake up to a nice greeding by either one of your student leaders or a staff member. Over-all this was the most fun experience I've had in my life, I will never forget the memories I made here, and I will never forget the people I made the memories with. I love this place, its my home away from home.

We loved this. We rented a Rotary Village cabin and went as a family. The cabin and grounds were well maintained. Food was great. Limited activities because of Covid-19, but what they had available was fun. Staff was very friendly.

Don’t like this camp one bit (for the most part). It took me like 3 hours to fall asleep each night, it’s loud and you are basically forced to sing stupid songs for like 30 minutes as soon as you wake up and then you have to stay still at this chapel place for so long, not the best camp.

It was not a good experience, there employees and camp counselors are sexist and mean, we waited for 39 minutes waiting for our food while singing dumb camp songs my ears were practically bleeding once we got inside, we couldn’t even pick where we sat! Such bull, they supposedly wanted us to meet new people so they picked where we sat, even tho we all know everyone.do not go here unless you can deal with difficult people!
