Zim's Brau Haus Restaurant & Sports Bar

This place is a gem of a spot. Love the whole vibe of the place and the bartender is a breath of fresh air and very pleasant. If I lived there it'd definitely be my watering hole. Will go to Zims whenever I'm passing through.

A true gem of a place.excellent service. Food was great. Laid-back atmosphere. Just all around an amazing place to stop by. To have food or.just drinks.

We were staying overnight in The Dalles and decided to try Zim's. The food was delicious! We had the schnitzel with spaetzle and fresh vegetables. It was a treat to have fresh vegetables after being on the road for many days. We also highly recommend the caramel apple pie and ice cream! We sat in the back patio area while others enjoyed the live music inside.
We had the chance to visit with the new owners, Jason and Rachel. They are great folks who are starting their new adventure of restaurant ownership with enthusiasm, involvement and creative ideas. Best of luck to Jason and Rachel!

Excellent place, on wednesday they ja e Tacos and the BEST biggest deepfried shell taco salad I've ever had, It had a lot of everything to include hamburger, jalapeños lettuce, tomamos, olives, salsa, sourcream chz. Carros shards green n red onion, redriend beans etc.it's a very busy place but we still got great service. $8.00

Pulled Pork sandwich was excellent and the Clam Chowder was delicious. My Lady had a Reuben sandwich which was also excellent. Service was fast and friendly.

Overall, Zims touches all the bases. Favorite spot to grab a drink/burger in
The Dalles.

Early evening drop in. Beer was cold and $2.00 tacos were delicious. Staff was attentive and restroom and restaurant were clean. Would definitely return if back in the area.

Zim's was hopping with live music and atmosphere. Since we had a dog, they let us dine on their back patio. The service was great and the food spectacular.

Great place for lite dinner and drinks.
Dog friendly patio is always an extra plus.

There is no justification with zims. The food is good. The atmosphere is as well, but the workers are treated terribly. God forbid you have a family emergency. Do not apply here. They dont care about you.

The food here is always decent, never amazing. Service varies a lot, not just because of how busy they are. The atmosphere is sports bar. Maybe that's good for your taste.

Have been going in there for years and the restaurant has gotten better and better. Hate to see the Ford’s go but looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
