Doctor ZoomCare reviews
19I would give zero stars if i could. I work 4 blocks away and got cut above my ankle at work during my shift. It wouldn't stop bleeding so my boss sent me down to zoomcare to have it looked at, the injury happened at work so it falls under worker's comp. Zoomcare refused to treat me. The front desk person sighed like i was an inconvenience when i said worker's comp. They said there was a chance my boss wouldn't pay for the bill and because i have insurance through the Oregon Health Plan, i could lose my insurance if the state found out. That's not how worker's comp works, and it's not how insurance works, but I left with a shoe full of blood. We are now headed to a different zoomcare to get help. Don't seek help here if you have insurance through OHP. You will be treated as a second class citizen.
While I don't live close to this ZoomCare location (went with my daughter who lives nearby), if I need this type of care, I would drive out of my way to be treated by Colin and Nick. Both were great communicators, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to ask thorough questions, clarify information and make recommendations. These two gentlemen were exactly the kind of healthcare professionals that we need a million more of. Thank you for the experience!
The employee (I think Abby) at the front desk was friendly and quick to check in. We arrived 10 mins early and Dr. Storz was ready to see us. He was very nice, informative and patient with my 12 year old. Both talking to my son about his care and informing me as to what he was doing. He was quick and efficient, but still made me feel confident in his knowledge and was not pushing us out the door. I would definitely recommend this office.
Make sure your appointment goes through online. I guess my appointment didn’t go through due to a glitch on the website. Then the person at the desk chose to fight with me for 15 mins (while I’m sick) instead of manually create an appointment and chart. I wouldn’t recommend this place
I went into the Zoomcare on NE 24th and Burnside because a cyst on my neck became very infected and was causing extreme pain. My experience with Zoomcare was exceptional and I will absolutely be returning when/if any other urgent medical matters arise. I was given a thorough evaluation by the knowledgeable and kind provider Colin Storz. I had to have my abscess drained and this procedure was done with much less pain than I anticipated because of Dr. Storz's steady hand and his great bedside manner. I was given antibiotics and wound dressing at the clinic so I did not have up go to a pharmacy to fill my Rx and I was seen promptly and my procedure only took about 30 min. I can not recommend this clinic and provider Storz anymore. 10 stars!
They are the comcast/xfinity of family medicine. They are literally just in it for the money. Here's what happened to me: 1) couldn't draw blood from me, i've never had that issue before 2) I had to come in the next day where they incorrectly coded my lab work since it was now a separate visit, which I told them the day of but the nurse lady refused to believe me 3) automatically charged my credit card weeks later for this visit, I didn't even know the card was stored? ! 4) and now will take 30-40 days to recode my visit and get my insurance to pay for it 5) the NURSE (you never see a doctor at zoomcare) requested a vitamin D lab test, even though I specifically asked to not order anything outside of the cover yearly physical and, additionally, I did not suggest I have depression or some other reason that would warrant a vitamin D test, this test cost me $40 6) and the cherry on top of it all, I never received the results of the vitamin D test.
I went to the Woodstock ZoomCare the first time and now Burnside. All zooms have been absolutely wonderful! Quick, easy to work with, and no hassle or wait you feel at a doctors office. The Zoomchat was wonderful to use 7 days after my appt (nonbillable) and the zoom care messaging was so quick in response when I had questions. Thank you all! Oh and I feel 100% better two days after my visit and what was prescribed.
I had a very pleasant experience as far as an urgent care experience can go! Specifically, Colin exceeded all expectations. Would recommend to a friend!
Very impressed with the services I received tonight. The staff here were professional, quick and nice!
Inflexible and unreasonable.i walked in 8 minutes late due to traffic and only needed to do a five minute test but was told their "strict 5 min late policy" meant they would waste the time they had booked for me when they could have done my quick test and be done with it with time to spare.seems a case where big business just didn't do people business well.
Zoom care is an absolute scam. Try to get a covid test with them and they funnel you into a video call where they charge you $159 for a 7 minute call to facilitate the ordering of a test. NOTE: you do not need to do the video call and can chat instead for free if you are an established patient, but they tell you this after the fact. Since I have not met my (high) deductible and Zoom doesn’t take my insurance (which is one of the majors in the area) I have to pay this fee in full. This does not include the fee for the test itself which is maybe partially covered by my insurance. So I’m looking at a $200 charge for a covid test. No wonder this thing is out of control.greed and profiteering in the health care industry and government ineptitude. Rant finished. Stay away from the Zoom scam!
I remembered while out running errands that I needed to get a flu shot. Pulled out my phone, made an appointment at a location 10 blocks away, showed up 10 minutes later, got my shot, and was on my way again. It could only be more convenient if they just came up and stuck you with a needle while you're standing in line at Trader Joes. Seriously. Love Zoom+care.
Nicholle Hassell was wonderful, very efficient and kind. I will be back for sure. Please use rapid result covid testing for your employees who are asymptomatic, and often. Thank you.
Colin the PA got us in when we arrived, we were early for the appointment. We were in and out in seven minutes. All three of us had our flu shots quickly. Front desk staff was very nice and professional. It was easy to book the appointment and pay for it online. We literally zoomed in and out. Thanks for immunizing my family for the season And making it as easy and painless as possible.
I love that I can almost always make an appointment within the hour and be seen and done so quickly! Always professional and helpful. Colin was great and went beyond with advice and care that met my needs today and toward less stress/fewer future issues and visits. Love Zoom!
Easy to make a same day appointment. They are very knowledgeable, take insurance, and can even provide your prescription at the same time.
Great Dr, but they didn’t check insurance before my visit so even though app says “pay by insurance” I still walked out with a $330 bill.
First time here to get my Depo shot (but they took excellent care of me a few winters ago when I broke my ankle) but it went great. Won't be going back to my previous provider! I'm 100% team zoom.
I was super dizzy and could barely walk straight and didn't know what was happening to me. I made an appointment to be seen the same day. The doctor saw me for a few minutes and told me I had vertigo and gave me an exercise sheet and charged me a couple hundred dollars. I could have at least gotten nausea medicine for how much I'm throwing up. That is highway robbery. It's sad what the Healthcare system has come to in this country. When I lived overseas, in England, it cost me $6.00 to see a doctor and fill a prescription, total. The doctor there even spent more time with me to make sure he was giving me a correct diagnosis.
