10th Street Hardware Ace reviews
12As the Director of Facilities, having this hardware store right next to my workplace is a godsend. Despite its modest size, the store is stocked with an impressive range of items, perfectly catering to my team's needs. What sets them apart is the incredibly helpful staff - a refreshing contrast to the larger national chains. This store has truly proven invaluable to our operations.
I love coming in here. The guys are always so friendly and welcoming. Whenever you ask for help they'll come assist you.
It has decent prices for items you need on the spot. The employees obviously have some sort of disdain for locals though and it shows with their tone - which can be reasonable considering they're a hardware store in the city so I'm sure they must get a lot of "blinker fluid" questions, but if they hate answering questions so much they should just stay behind the counter and stop offering to answer questions when asked for directions to an item's location.
Makes no sense if they're just going to be arrogant about simple household items - you guys aren't selling diamonds.
The store is small, but the maximize the soacecqith clever sliding shelves in front of shelves. They literally always have whatever I need, no matter how esoteric.
Great hardware store, they have everything I need. Some items I would only buy in a pinch because they're a little pricey, but I do try to support local stores over the behemoth retailer we won't mention!
That being said, I love shopping here. Lots of products that are hard to find elsewhere, like Zepp grout whitener (great, heavy duty, tile cleaner), Rainex, etc. A plethora of cleaning products I use sparingly, but don't want to wait for. They have all the usual hardware, I needed an adapter for my garden hose.
Friendly and helpful staff, couldn't be better. I wish I had money to shop, I love hardware. I'd stop if I didn't need anything.
Very Ignorant! The employee with the long hair asked my husband to leave n not come back bc he called a racist. He is a racist! Sold me & my husband a faucet for the tub. But it didn't fit. When my husband returned it, the employee said "it figures". Tho it was his fault it was his fault, we gt the wrong size. He charged $20. Went to another hardware store and the same faucet was $8.50
Too expensive also.
Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Easy to find everything–the prices aren't bad, either.
Would be nice if your staff didn't laugh at someone trying to return something. They won't be back, I'm embarrassed cause I said you were a good place to shop.
It decent Little Hardware Store in Center City. Definitely need some more for the home consumer, not the commercial user. But what they have works.
Unquestionably the best hardware store in Philadelphia, if not the whole world. Beautifully and neatly organized with employees ready and willing to knowledgeably answer your "how to" questions and retrieve anything in inventory for you. Troy and Steve, the owners, are in-store more often than not. Their enthusiasm for and knowledge of their business is second to none. They stock an incredibly wide array of useful and reasonably priced hardware and housewares. You will thoroughly enjoy shopping here.
The team is always knowledgeable and very helpful. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood.
Besides the fact that they advertise things and then when the items do not work they refuse to take it back. The people attending felt a bit racist and condescending.why support small business if they are just trying to scam you? Welp back to lowes
