9Paid 50 for parking " preferred parking " attendant was rude saying no parking till 6 "too many moving pieces " the lot is 2/3s empty. Need to line up early for the concert. This power tripping guy is screwing up our plans. BTW there was no mention of the restrictions until you pull up to the lot.
Extremely Displeased with Parking Lot Attendant's Rude Behavior
After driving two hours from Maryland we were unsure about the specific parking lot location for The Met. We approached the parking lot attendant for assistance and mistakenly mentioned the wrong parking lot and he said this was a private parking lot. When we promptly corrected our question the attendant's demeanor changed for the worse. Instead of offering assistance or guidance, he berated us for our mistake. His response was not only rude but also completely uncalled for. He raised his voice at us making us feel humiliated and unwelcome. Paying customers should be treated professionally regardless of any initial confusion.
When we returned at 6 pm we were greeted by the actual Met Attendant employee who was kind and professional.
The previous private lot attendant promptly needs communication skills training because his unhinged behavior towards others is disturbing and disappointing.
Parked there during a show at The Met in Philly. Reasonable price and a 10 minute walk to the theater. Lot is fenced in and there is security on site. We have used the lot before, and will use it again. This lot has reserved spaces for the theater, only.
This lot ruins this areas parking. They’d make so much money if they opened it to monthly parking, especially once all of the parking around the school becomes illegal to park on school days! I hope someone important sees this cuz I would be willing to drop $350/mo on this and it would then compete with Giant’s $450 parking garage
I used this lot when I went to a show at The Met. Parking was $50 (I'm sure this is set by the venue) which is costly but the lot is clean, surrounded by a sturdy fence, and there's plenty of spaces. The distance to The Met isn't very far but I will say after the show it's not the most comfortable vibe walking back to the car. There's a lot right across from the venue that also costs $50 so I'll probably park there next time.
You can't park here on Saturdays it's locked with about 3 cars parked in the lot.
They take up so much of the neighborhoods spots. They should allow for nightly parking permits.
Good place to park since the choices are limited. They are leveraging the lack of parking choices and will now require $50 to park. Ouch! This place was only $30 a year or so ago. What you gonna do.
Constantly empty but no parking (not even paid parking) for nearby residents is ridiculous.
