Great place, it was falling apart some years ago but they remodeled it. The plays have never disappointed.
My family and I had planned to visit the civic theatre for their xmas program. Long story short, we had a death in the family and another person got covid. Darlene at the box office was wonderful! She was understanding and accommodating. She made sure we were still able to see the show! We had to change two times and she was still happy to do it!
Civic Theatre of Allentown is ALWAYS a Great place to spend some time watching incredible High Quality, Live Theatre and Movies and in their theatre across the Street, Theatre 514 as well. ENJOY!

Last night we watched an amazing performance
In " Indecent". If you haven't, do not hesitate to see it. The music and acting were excellent!
Very nice venue; well maintained, comfortable, nice atmosphere. Great place to see a show.
We went to the small theater across the street to see a movie, Duke. We were expected to wear a mask in our seats unless we were eating (we went in May 2022). The service was excellent and the theater is cozy. The price was very reasonable. The selection of treats was also plentiful, given the small venue. As far as the theater itself, the seats could use a decent steam cleaning and overall the place could use a sweep.

The ushers were friendly I love the nostalgia of this place. The play "The Color Purple" was sooooo good The talent was unbelievable
