18Terrible customer service. I called to order and was told I needed to come in. Get there and was told they were closed but forgot to lock the door after I was told to come in and order
Didn't get a chance to test food cause of the rude Jamaican girl at the counter, seem like she was in a bad mood, never spend your money somewhere like that!
Hey, i'm from washington d c and cultural and food is what we do I visited pittsburgh and let me just say he did not disappoint!
I really hate it when people americanize the food. People need to learn to handle the heat.
The food was good, but the service is ridiculous. Suppose to open at 12 normally opens around 1/1: 30. Went at 5: 30pm before and the place was closed. It's very hard to support a business that you never know if they are going to be open.
BEST & AUTHENTIC Restaurant in PA.hands down! Always the same quality when you go! Friendly owners and they give you a lot of cabbage & rice!
Delicious food. Loved the jerk chicken and brown stew chicken. Their rice and peas were delicious, too. Generous portions as well. We had three meals from each order. Can't recommend this place enough.
Generous portions of oxtail and curry goat with plenty rice and vegetables. Authentic Jamaican seasoning very much worth regular visits!
Service is amazing overall. The food is the best I had around, serving size is filling.
Highly recommend. Love love LOVE
Food is good but need to update hours. Just drove 30 minutes only to find they were closed. Smh
The food is so good me and my friends get different dishes just so we know what too get the next time.
I had brown stew chicken with rice and peas and cabbage everything was very delicious huge portions. No place to really sit and eat, no place to park despite that I'll still go back.
Best Jamaican Jamaican restaurant in the city of Pittsburgh hands down always hot and fresh call before you get there the wait is long that's how good there food is and the stuff of the restaurant are great people
The oxtail was fantastic and perfectly cooked! Plus the sides were all so delicious! I highly recommend.
I was next door at a Reception outside looking at the guy cooking it up pretty sure it was good.
Being an original New Yorker with island roots. This is how Caribbean food should taste. Best Oxtails in Pittsburgh. Respect to the chef. It’s always Irie even a day later!
Omg my first time eating here and I promise I'll be back. Like real soon. Like probably tomorrow.this is the best Jamaican food I've had in years.had to stop eating to write this review
I got the jerk chicken w rice & beans & cabbage. I also got a veggie patty. My friend got the macaroni salad. All the food was very good. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that I was not a fan of how the cooked, whole, bone-in pieces of chicken was cut into smaller pieces so it was super sloppy and I had to pick at all the chicken. I'd rather have 1 or 2 whole pieces of chicken. Other than that, everything was awesome! I will definitely be back and I will try some other meat. I will also get the macaroni salad because that was soooooo good. My favorite thing actually. Was sweet a little. The flavor of the cabbage was awesome too.
Delicious Jamaican food!
Jerk chicken, cabbage, rice & beans, and a side of macaroni salad. (Macaroni salad is slightly sweet. Sooo good)
Big portions!
Will be back soon!
