Dr is extremely informative, patient, caring, thoroughly explains everything which is much appreciated. CLEAAAANNNNN! And I’ve never felt pain in this office AT ALL. HIGHLY recommended. And YES they take Medicaid ;)

I went to A-1Family Dental Care to have 13 teeth extracted and to get dentures. I don't need to tell the fear I had. The minute I sat in the chair and met Dr. Mafa it was comfort at first sight. She addressed my fears and concerns and talked to me thru the whole process. The staff is unbelievably nice and comforting. I look forward to getting my new teeth and being able to smile at my granddaughter again.

My daughter had an amazing experience. They were very warm, welcoming, kind, and professional! The teeth cleaning was very thorough and painless. Highly recommend.

Horrible experience! Staff is very rude and. I had a 3: 15 appt, was running 10-15 mins late due to traffic. I call as a curtious to inform them I will be approx 10-15 mins late. They put me on hold for 5 mins then tell me they want to reschedule my appt. You know, the appt I scheduled my whole day around and was on my way to but running late, yeah, that one! Such a disappointment. I still can’t believe they did that.

The dentist I had for 20 plus years (since I first had teeth) didn’t take my insurance anymore, and I found it difficult to try someone new. I was so scared I waited too long, and wound up with pain, and several issues requiring immediate attention. I was referred there by my mother, and they were able to fit me in fast. The staff is pleasant, and easy to talk to. I was very impressed with the care that was taken by the dental hygienist at my first trip. She knew my gums were sensitive, and took such great care while cleaning. Dr. Mafa is fantastic too. She is charming, kind, but also very honest. I have been back a couple of times now (I’ll be back a bunch more too), and I never felt like things were rushed. This is not so common in a medical setting nowadays. I felt like she had my best interests in mind at every appointment, and every step of the way. Everything was transparent, and no sugar coating. The employees seems to have a great working relationship, and that contributes to the comfortability of the atmosphere too. I drive 90 minutes to get there. This was initially for the ease of having my mom watch my son, but I would be willing to make this drive regardless now. I recommend Dr. Mafa to anyone that is looking for a top notch dentist in a friendly atmosphere.

I’ve been coming here for years, and would highly recommend A-1 to any-1! Great service, and the staff is the best!

These people can’t get their act together. My wife is constantly being brought back because of their screw ups. The dentist assigned to my wife has very limited hours and days and takes numerous long vacations so hope you don’t have an emergency. The office staff is rude and expects you to take exorbitant amounts of time off from work to fit their limited hours. Also great to hear the hygentist and dentist give conflicting advice. Still working on the same problem for 4 months. Once this is done we’re out of there.

Dr. Mafa is amazing and explained everything that I needed in great detail. And April is so kind! I love coming here. Everyone is so nice, the atmosphere is really positive. You can tell they love what they do!

Good place. I been going here for about 6 months. Maybe more! My family goes here too. So far. So good. Very nice staff and great dentist.

I have been going here for about a year and a half now. The staff is kind and courteous, always accommodating and helpful with guiding me through the insurance process. I have no words for how incredible Dr. Mafa (spelling?) has been. She has ever so patiently worked with me through quite a few procedures, endured endless questions and my quest for perfection is shared by the pride she takes in her work. Since I started using this office, I have moved about an hour away and still make the drive. Yes, they are worth the two hour round trip ride!

Note: I have a younger brother who is neurologically disabled and suffers from severe anxiety when it comes to doctors and dentists. After his first visit with Dr. Mafa, his anxiety level had dropped significantly. After his second visit, he experienced almost no anxiety in preparation for his third visit. As a matter of fact, he almost seemed like he was looking forward to seeing her!

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! They scammed my father. This place is disgusting. My father went there ONE TIME to get his teeth fixed. All they did was take xray, and charged him for false upper teeth! Now the insurance won't pay and my father has been trying for six months to get teeth! We are taking legal action for insurance fraud. Because when we called to confront them, they claimed they never charged for the procedure and denied. We have the proof, and now we're taking legal action against them. I would not recommend this place to anybody!

Office the dr and staff are great

Today was my first time to this dentist and I must say I love this office. I don't like the dentist at all and I have high Anxiety but All the girls were excellent and the dentist was so nice. Dr Mafa talked me through everything she was doing as she was taking a tooth out.
