Always a great place for building supplies. At the farm my family owns we've built many building with materials from AB Martin. Great staff and friendly service everytime we're there.

Wanted to love AB Martin and I did until I placed a $4,300 lumber order. It was delivered with a lot of scrap, unusable lumber. I tried to return 28 of the worst pieces for replacement. The rude person I spoke with said “you can’t return it, we can’t pick through it for you and we can’t return it”
Sorry, your customers shouldn’t have to accept your scrap. Eventually, somebody approved the return and the rude guy told me “next time go to Home Depot. We don’t need your business. ”
I went to AB Martin to support a local lumber yard and paid a premium thinking I’d get better quality.
Thanks to this one person I’ll never step foot in that store again. Pictures don’t fully convey how bad this split, checked, gouged AND moldy lumber really was. 1/2 star is more appropriate.

In past had nothing but great to say about them. Now they are a dirty company to their customers especially the little man. My husband and i had bought and PAID for and an order, was picking it up 3 days later. Get a phone call day before pickup and was told not enough to fill my order. They filled a bigger order that came in after my order. This tells be they have know respect for the little man or non contractor customers. All they care about is money. However I the only star they deserve goes to the salesman that was honest to me.

The only place i like to go for lumber. The staff is always helpful and give you a nice neat bundle of materal. You can tell they do their best and care about what they do.

Best place in Pennsylvania. For just about anything from tools to lumber even Custom Metal Roofing. They have everything. I love this store.

Great place to go for all your construction needs. Metal of any sort. Custom made however you want. Lumber screws hardware you name it. Also have a large variety of tools and supplies. Everything is top quality including customer service. Best to place order ahead of time, and pick up next day. As it is a busy place.

I inquired about and ordered the aged metal to cover the underside of my metal patio cover. It turned out beautiful. Sheldon was quick with accurate information and expedited the shipping for me. Couldn’t ask for better support. Hope to do a project with these guys again!

Ordered a cupola for an 8/12 roof. I know it was an 8/12 roof and ordered for an 8/12 roof because I designed said roof as we are home builders. I know what a roof pitch is. Uncrated the cupola and it was made for a 12/12. Called AB Martin - the first fellow tried to help me but said someone would need to call me back. Guy who called me back (Deevis maybe?) was combative from the start, stating that they don't make mistakes and only order what the customer tells them. I guess it is completely inconceivable that the order taker entered 12 instead of 8 by mistake on his keyboard. I get it that mistakes are made, it happens - what I'm not ok with is a company essentially telling me I'm out of luck because they made one and insulting me while they're at it. I only got somewhere when I threatened to issue a chargeback, to which he told me that it shows what kind of customer I am. No, it shows what kind of company these guys are. So now they will remake the base, but I need to drive 3 hours round trip to get it or it'll be another $250. So now the whole project is held up while I wait for it to be remade and go and get it.
It would probably have been avoided had they actually sent me some kind of order confirmation but that never arrived when I placed the order to begin with. So congrats AB Martin, you ruined a potential long term client relation who is a builder because “you don’t make mistakes”. Oh and we were also going to buy $10k of roofing material from you, but guess what is not happening now. That’s right we just ordered Englert for the job.

Great service, incredible prices, it's so nice not to have to get a cart and push it through a complete store, you tell them what you want and they bring it to you.

This is our second time purchasing materials from AB Martin. My husband also frequents the establishment for his job. Love the service! They are kind and supremely thorough. With suggestions to make your build easy and efficient. Love every opportunity to support this "small" business instead of big box home improvement stores.

I went to AB Martin as I was referred by a friend for a metal shed roofing project and was very pleasantly surprised by how friendly and clean the place was.
The staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable on their products and the whole process was enjoyable.

I walked into A B Martin today prepared to make a large purchase. I was astounded to see not a single employee wearing a mask. One particular employee at the customer service counter was coughing into his hand, then handling samples and paperwork not 3 feet from a customer. I am horrified at the complete disregard for customer health and safety at this business. They should be ashamed for their unchristian behavior.

Tons of hardware, tools, lumber, metal, nuts, bolts, washers, wiring, and lights; a HUGE selection. If you're a contractor or even a regular guy who sticks to easy jobs and need supplies or tools to start, work on, or complete your project, then this is definitely a solid contender for a local one-stop-shop. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean and organized. Prices are in-line with other supply stores in the area; some things are higher and others are lower etc.
