AAA East Central, Pittsburgh PA

I've been a platinum member for 10 years, after struggling to get out of my car (I'm disabled) and being watch limping across the parking lot (I'd just watched a man walk in seconds before me), the manager stopped me at the door, asked what I needed today (renew my registration), then said they weren't taking anyone else today. She said, "See all these cars (6 and mine), we have all of them to do and we close at 3.
It was 12: 30, and that was completely unacceptable.

Went there to renew my membership. Young snot nosed girl at the door had an I pad and wanted to know my business. Had to stand on a circle until asked to come forward as if I was being anointed by the dumb broad behind the counter. I asked her if I should make my cheque out to AAA East Central or West Penn AAA and she didn't know. Transaction took forever. Will never go back to these incompetents.

They're trying their best under current conditions. Having said that an hour wait to get service on a Thursday is a bit much. I think they could do better to get people through. I would recommend opening the downtown office & East Liberty. AAA in general is not doing enough to serve its members

The hours need changed on the web site - I arrived at 5: 45pm on 9-11-20 and was told the people that do title transfers are gone the web site said 7pm - I wasn’t the only one there was another guy wanting to do the same this is poor service on AAA they should know better. I am not happy and I have been a member for 14 yrs.

I used to like this location but I recently had an unbelievably unprofessional situation with them. I was trying to get them to notarize the power of attorney of a vehicle. They told me to bring not one but two witnesses. So I had to coordinate with two witnesses and the person I was doing the transaction with. So on the day we coordinated to go, I called on my way to make sure I had everything i needed. They just transferred me around from department to department not answering my simple question until the call drop. So I showed up with 3 other people at about 5: 45. It was the earliest we could get there since I work till 5 but it should have been fine because according to their website they were open till 7 AND I had called ahead so they knew I was coming. So we all finally get there, and they refused to serve us because apparently they changed their hours to close at 6 without updating their website and without caring to mention that when I called ahead. It wasn’t just me they inconvenienced in this situation, I had to drag two witnesses all the way out there for nothing.
As if that’s not enough, I scheduled to have this done at another notary, and apparently we don’t need any witnesses, much less two. So I inconvenienced a whole group of my loved ones for nothing.
I don’t usually write reviews (ever), but I can’t believe how many people this place has caused me to inconvenience for a simple POA because of their unprofessionalism and lack of communication. I strongly recommend the AAA in East Liberty. This location is a disorganized joke.

Small wait time due to following covid guidelines was well worth it for courteous knowledgeable professional staff service.

So I guess AAA thinks it's alright to leave people in parking lot for over 2 hours! And their phone system is messed up.when you call if there is a slight wait they tell you that they will send a text message so you can request service but when you actually request service you get another text message saying to call the number back. "Not Helpful"! Very slow, response time! Perhaps the AAA people like to sit along side the road. I'm going to have to rethink my 17 yr.membership.

I I love trip way until I found out that the basic package you get 3 miles of free Towing yes three miles so I get a letter to get the best package they have and it says it's 200 miles of free Towing send the same benefits as the rest it's good to have tripway but it also didn't give me what it told me that I was signing up for they reimburse you most of the stuff is out of pocket and I'm disappointed with them

Jeanine Kaller, Insurance Agent, and David, DMV, were extremely helpful with a title transfer the other week. They went above and beyond the call of duty by staying past closing hours in order to setup a policy on the spot and also transferred title after hours. Thank you AAA for having such great employees like Jeannine and David!

They offer many standard services but do not go here if you have a camera card because they cannot help you with that. They really should be clearer about what they can do on their website

Antiquated technology and dreary office decor. AAA does not have chip credit card ready capability. It is just shabby, but, a nice lady helped to transfer the title for the car we sold.

Here already for 1.5 hours and everyone is pretending to do something but nothing is moving employee are talking to each othe moving papers from one side to another side of there dask but nothing gets done literally nothing

I highly recommend getting auto ins and home owners ins. I saved 50% by switching. But you have to be a AAA member. It is well worth being a member for how much you can save on ins.

Over dozens of employees only helping one customer. Most are stuck up not trying to do their jobs. Extremely long wait times for the simple services

I was selling a car and was there for the title transfer. Not long at all. Hardly anyone was there that day. We were there early.

Had an auto title transfer to take care of the past Saturday around noon. Pleasantly greeted by the receptionist (don't recall name) and had a bit of a wait for a clerk probably due to the time and day. Nicole took care of our transaction and it was an excellent experience. She was extremely outgoing, pleasant and helpful. I can't say enough good about her. I am from another area of the state and only wish I lived close enough to utilize this particular AAA location again.

AAA is a great place, very nice staff and service, I have been using this location service for over 20 year plus, from car or truck registration, trailer registration, they also do a lot of notary service.and they have a in house travel agency, much more! I recommend this location to everyone.did I let everyone know they are a great towing service, you can count on all year round.

Great efficient service! Did a private party vehicle purchase on a Saturday afternoon. We were in and out in 20 minutes! Can't get any better than that!

The team here is really great and so helping.

Very patient and helpful employees. Wait times can be long, but that's what it's like at any AAA.
