AAFES PX reviews
16I was in the Optometry Shop getting new glasses. Jill was AMAZING in working with my vision insurance, and got me the biggest possible discount. Terrific!
It's OK but small. The subway inside was replaced by a food court. The guys working there are great but the food is absolutely terrible.
I have no problem with going to the PX the people there are kind and actually have personalities. But the commissary I would love to use but when i was there one time a woman came up and asked me for my ID and she told me the reason is I did not look like I belong there I was never so insulted in my life I guess it was because I am a minority. I haven't used it since and I told management and it fell on deaf ears like this review. I should have went to the news with this experience but I figured it would be a waste of my time and energy it's probably because there is a high-ranking officer in charge of the commissary and doesn't care about minorities and respect and service members that were in the military for over 28 years God Bless America
They are remodeling and making it bigger with a better selection. When done it will be really nice
They are finally getting things in place! It's going to be amazing when it's finished!
Still under construction at the time of the writing of this review. Masking mandate still in effect within store as well as low stock on some shelves and/or none on others. I was able to buy most of the things I came for however its high time the location finished its renovation. Plan to revisit within 90days & hopefully that'll be the case, whereupon I'll likely update.
Found a few things I didn't realize I could find there. Under some kind of construction, so not a 5 but very nice anyway. Personnel very friendly and helpful.
Still under construction/renovation. The selections in the store are shrinking and clothing sales is all but nonexistent. Very disappointed!
Disappointed. They are making it smaller than it already was. Hardly worth the extra trip when I am in this area.
The expanded Class 6 is open! You must currently enter on the left side entrance for the class 6 and baker shop due to construction. Just a small PX. The PX entrance is at the front, no change. Looking forward to the final configuration!
Small in size but they're renovating for expansion. I'm optimistic it'll vastly improve the variety stocked items they have.
Great prices however some items are too expensive. They had cooked chicken wings, 4 for almost 8 dollars.
Great place to buy just what you need. Its small & friendly great prices on meat and items from Germany. I love to buy my items to make Brats & Grill Steaks when friends stop over. A close community with great people.

The public is still under the grand illusion that the PX is so much cheaper than other stores. This is simply not true! Some things are more and some things are less. Yes, there is no PA Sales Tax but one must still shop wisely.
Nice, small, well maintained exchange. For the most part, high quality merchandise - obviously catering to a different category of shoppers than some of the larger PX/BXs
It's small, but the service agents are very helpful, and the facility is very clean and convenient for those on base housing.
