Abe's Buggy Rides reviews
16 Way overpriced for the ride you get. Driver made me super nervous when she pulled into heavy traffic and a car barely got stopped in time.
They make it sound like you are taking a special ride and seeing things you would not see by car.
Could have seen all the same things driving these main roads by car.
Stopping at Bird in Hand was nice except they only gave you 10 minutes and the place was so busy there really wasn't time to get a good look at what they had.
Save your money and take the drive in your own car.
Everything my wife was hoping for. Our trip was pleasant and informative thanks to David and, of course, Brian who did all the heavy work.
We had a wonderful experience with Irvin on the three mile ride. Extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Will go back again the next time we are in town
Its was soo great and David the Buggy Driver was so amazing if u ever in Lancaster PA.its definitely well worth it coming back nexts year.
Driver David was great. Very friendly and funny. Answered all our questions. Took the HR long ride. Great ride.
We visited here for our mini vacation and it was amazing. Something I've always wanted to do was get a buggy ride and this experience was awesome!
Great experience for everyone. Our driver John is very knowledgeable about his town and answers all questions.
We booked the short ride and as the ride began it started as a formal ride but quickly turned into a ride that felt like you were riding with your grandpa would definitely recommend to any one that wants to feel at home not just a tourist
We went this past weekend. It wasn’t too busy so we were able to pick The buggy we wanted. We had an incredible Amish guide named Elizabeth. Very knowledgeable super friendly.we had such a good time. We did the 4 1/2 mile buggy ride it was definitely worth it. All around super nice people!
Ervan was the sweetest and very knowledgeable! Beautiful ride with our family and Eli the horse was suck a good boy! Can't wait to come back!
Nice folks and a pleasant experience. Lots of information about the locality and the Amish in particular.
First buggy ride we had ever been on.driver was so very pleasant & kind. Pointed out the history of the Amish community & many farm houses. Also, kindly answered all of our questions. Very nice people! Thanks Paul
We went to Abe’s on Saturday. I understand that everywhere is short staffed, but there appeared to be no organization, we were told it would be 1/2 hour for ride, we waited well over an hour on a very hot day. Staff were arguing and fighting among each other, they were not Amish. Our driver was Mennonite, but could not be heard above screaming children and loud talking parents, he asked them to please be quieter so all guests could hear. They ignored him. You are packed on buggy shoulder to shoulder. “Amish” farm you stop at is selling drinks, Whoopie pies, and soft baked commercial pretzels. Not enjoyable, save your money!
Such a nice experience. Loved it! Recommend to anyone that would like a nice, calming, site seeing excursion.
I had never been on a buggy before and I got to do it with my kids. The tour guide was very friendly and personable. She wasn't shy about answering questions and we asked a lot of them. She cleared a few misconceptions we had about the Amish people. I was so impressed and I wish I could spend a week with them. I know that's out of the question.
I've been on Abe's Buggy Ride as a kid and they are continuing their tradition of excellence. Great way to see Amish living and hear from a real Amish person.
