Abington Hospital - Central Behavioral Health reviews
9They flat out lied and said they called me for my phone appointment last week. I'm on my phone constantly, you dumb mf's.like, who are you trying to play? The doctors here are hot garbage. I just go for the medication, honestly. Anything Dr. V says is just foolish. She doesn't even believe in global warming, like what
Absolute worst psychiatrists I have ever dealt with. They do not listen nor care about what you tell them. It is impossible to ever get a hold of someone. They have canceled appointments on me and have texted me to call and reschedule but no one picks up the phone. On multiple occasions I have run out of medication and not been able to get a hold of anyone to schedule an appointment to refill. They do not care about their patients and have no business calling themselves a mental health provider
Doctor Cha is incredibly rude and doesn’t listen at all. She constantly cut me off and refused to understand what I was trying to tell her about my experience with certain medications. She eventually told me I should look for another psychiatrist.
Can’t even get through to their intake. They claim it’s open 9-2 but I’ve been turned away from their virtual waiting room twice now at two different times for two different reasons. And they don’t even tell you that their intake is a luck/timing-based gauntlet in the email… which they might as well because it’s better than finding out real time after the email makes no mention of unreliability/first come first serve/ever closing early. Mental health care is hard enough to access and navigate without them silently moving goalposts without telling us to even get the most basic services. Just be honest about the quality of your intake so people can be prepared to navigate it.
They retraumatized me big time and wasted over a year of my life on a rollercoaster of side effects and withdrawal symptoms, all without giving any real explanation for the med choices THEY made. They talk over you if you try to report problems with the meds. The psychiatrists and site director treat thier clients like less than dirt. They make it very obvious that they don't care a lick about the people coming to them for help. They just want to change your insurance- if you have a concern or question there is NO WAY to contact your doctor, and they just keep forcing you to make another appointment just to ask a simple question. The site director is no help and just protects these abusive narcissists.
It is a true shame that this site is somehow affiliated with Abington Hospital.
Don't judge by some of the bad reviews, where they may have had a bad experience with some certain staff. This place has great management. They took my concerns seriously and switched me to Elizabeth W. As therapist. She's careing, compassionate, and very into her job. I always look forward to her sessions.
Although I have never been to this office I am receiving virtual DBT treatment and I'm very satisfied with what I am receiving. Great staff they're very sincere and very genuine. I can tell that they care about me.
The psychiatrists here are terrible. I spent more time detoxing on meds I shouldn’t have been taking than actually feeling good. They don’t seem to listen to you either. Not sure if it’s an old age thing or what. The therapist I was seeing, although nice, was only a student or intern of some sorts. No progress made in over a year here.
Dr. Glass is a pompous idiot who misdiagnosed me and caused me months of extra trauma. My therapist, Rachel Steen, however is the absolute best!
