Intake nurse did an exceptional job in med and allergy entry.

However the need to get the Kangaroo Joey feeding bag and G/j tube cleared iis a primary concern.

Client sent to Chester County to accomplish this need. Pump and bag should go with client.

Horrible experience for my father who was brought there to recover from a broken hip. They are severely understaffed and those that are working do not know anything about the patients they are "caring" for. When asked why they don't answer the phone when loved ones call for updates, they have an attitude and are rude. He fell out of bed and the solution was to lower the bed so if he fell again it would not be a far fall. He was put in a chair and had slid almost all the way down to the floor. He was pressing the call button and no one came. Luckily, I was there for a visit and I found someone in the hallway to help move him back to the bed. He yelled in pain as they moved him like a sack of potatoes and the one person on the broken hip side said "no wonder he is yelling like that, looks like he broke his hip. " This was after he had been there for a week and they have people who had no idea of his condition! This is just a snapshot of 1 visit, but there were MANY more issues that we will be reporting. If you have someone who needs skilled nursing care, avoid this place at all costs!

We visited late in the day. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and extremely helpful. The nurses were helpful in assisting my husband with the timing of his medication needs. PT came on the weekend and helped my husband learn how to walk and protect his injury.
My main concern is the nursing aids are very understaffed. I feel like their job is impossible for them to accomplish successfully with the current lack of staff. I do not know if they are purposely understaffed on weekends or not but the issue needs to be addressed to better serve the clients in the facility.

You should be absolutely proud of the hardest working, kindest, most attentive staff I have ever met in a medical setting. Nothing was too much to ask. All the men and women, whether cleaning staff, kitchen staff, nurses, rehab staff, nurse practitioners, doctors, nps, cPNS were knowledgeable and helpful, activity coordinator and anyone I may have omitted accidentally. THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY

My dad had an absolute horrible experience here. I told them on day one he was a fall risk from Chester County Hospital (he had a wrist band stating this when he arrived) and I requested a bed alarm. They said they would order one and told me the bed would be very low so if he fell out, he would not fall far (absolutely unacceptable!). I asked again for one a day later and was told it was on order. He then fell and then they finally gave him one (I was told they had a bunch of them in the closet) but it only rang in his room which was all the way down the hall from the nurses station so they would never be able to hear it. At the hospital it rang at the nurses station so as soon as the patient got up, it would ring. My dad fell a second time and I have no idea how long he was laying on the floor. I was never told this information. They also lost his $1,500 hearing aid which I am waiting for reimbursement on. I had no idea how much he was eating or how his PT or OT went each day as no one seemed to have that information when I asked for it. I am letting everyone know about his experience here and to make sure their loved one does not go here.

If I could give this place all negative stars, I would. FIND ANOTHER PLACE! My Father was here a week ago and was treated so terrible that he left against medical advice. Some of the staff were pleasant but most were incredibly rude and were not very helpful. There were hardly ever check ins to see how he was doing and the food was disgusting and never hot. Their own staff commented on how bad the kitchen food and kitchen staff are. I followed up and asked if they could fax his list of new prescriptions to his primary care and the woman I spoke with was so incredibly rude and said "we will try to get to that. " How is that helpful when his meds are running out in two days! I called and spoke with the supervisor, Sarah, and found out that the "reason" she was rude with me is because my father left under against medical advice. He wouldn't have left if they treated him like a human and now his family has to figure out how to get his meds because they won't fax them. If you care for your loved one, don't risk having them stay here.

Awesome care facility. This is our second time here (unfortunately) and all of the nurses and techs are great!

The nurses where nice on the first day so I was hopeful when we arrived but that was lost when I came to visit my mother. The next day. She can’t stand at all and needs help to use the bathroom. I was told that it took too long till someone came to help her over night. I had to change her whole bed linens. I understand a lot. But human needs of those that need help don't get met. It's not ok

My dad has been at Accelerate off and on - in-between hospitalizations - since the end of April. I only have wonderful things to say about all direct-care personnel. Nurse practitioner Erin detected what could've become a serious issue before it even arose. Every nurse that has cared for my dad has done so with diligence and concern. All of the CNAs (Vronda, Matt, Mo, and I know I'm forgetting many of them) have been crucial in my dad's care and do it all with a smile. All of the PT (specifically OBrian & Stephanie) and all of the OT have worked diligently with my dad, going above and beyond. Tanner and his staff have incredible energy and the entire front desk staff is kind and welcoming. I wish I could give an individual shout-out to all of those who have been assisting us but please know I'm grateful for everyone who has aided in my dad's long recovery. I'm very thankful he has so many layers of support.

It's not worth the money you pay people scrimping for help, Somme of the workers sitting watching TV and cracking sunflowers seeds, VERY NICE, AND pacients, are wet in the bed for Half of the day, NOT ACCEPTED, MAKING BED RUSES AFTER NOT EVEN 3 DAYS. SOME NIGHT THEY DONT CHEK ON PACIENTS, BED Experience for me. THEY KNOW, some of them they don't do they're job. (Gest a little)
So think twice when you let your love ones there.
Big thank you for very experience people doing the exercises with pacients.

The nurses and therapy staff were nice and listened to my concerns. Though that didn't always help as they are short staffed. Being from a nursing backgroud myself I could se that the aides were not well informed or trained to perform their duties. My father and many other patients there laid sometimes up to an hour waiting to be attended toafyer ring their call bell. They also would bring the meals in and set it down without letting the oatient know. I was told that if the patient was sleeping they didn't disturb them, meaninig that they would miss a meal. How would you feel!

I would like to thank the Social Worker Michele for assistance with getting my living situation. She was very instrumental in getting things done.

My stepfather went to Accelerate Rehab's short-term nursing facility for three weeks after leaving the hospital. He had compressed discs and couldn't walk. Within three weeks, he was walking and only used a cane when needed. The PT and OT were friendly and accommodating, patient, and understanding. Helen in reception was kind and thoughtful. The only complaint is they are understaffed, (which every healthcare facility has been since Covid-19). It’s a shame because it could be an excellent Long and short-term nursing facility if they had enough staff.
