Worst Pharmacy Ever! They have outrageous processing time, they couldn't care less if you NEVER get your prescription. I hate that my insurance BCBS has forced me to start using this farce of a pharmacy

If I could give 0 stars I would. An absolute nightmare. None of their customer service representative’s know what they are talking about. You get tossed around constantly for months with no answers when you need your prescription. They all tell you different things from what the other says. The worst company you could ever deal with. If you can avoid them I would!

Same as all the other reviews…horrible.you can never get ahold of a representative that can actually help you.your doctor can also never get ahold of a representative.they just continuously restart your “case” but never actually refill anything despite contestant calls.they are also horrible when it comes to understanding insurance…do whatever you can to work with another pharmacy.

This is the ABSOLUTE worst pharmacy to deal with! I am now without my medication due to their horrible customer service! NO ONE will call me back & send my medicine! I have 3 leads working on my case & they have all promised to address this issue within 24-72 hrs, needless to say, STILL NO CALL BACK & no meds! I've called everyday & every person I talk to is clueless! I don't know what else to do. It is time for legal action! Do not believe a word this place tells you, they should seriously be shut down. I wish I could rate "zero stars" because they don't even deserve that! I am beyond frustrated! Hopefully someone in management sees this & will finally help me! But I won't hold my breath!

If I could give them zero stars I would. I have been trying for 7 months with numerous calls to Accredo to try to get my script filled that I should be taking monthly. I have had my doctor call them 6 times, and they have faxed over my prior auth countless times to Accredo. I have had the following excuses:
1. Your PA has expired, which I know is a lie.
2. We haven't received your PA, which I know is a lie.
3. Too soon to ship out your medication, even though I never received it the prior month. Again, another lie.
4. Your doctor sent in the wrong dosage, another lie.
Accredo is deliberately not trying to fill this prescription due to the cost, and if you research this online you will find others like me. I can't change and their parent company Express Scripts is even worse with their business practices. If you have ANY choice do NOT USE ACCREDO!

Avoid this company at all costs. Every month they asked for prior authorization for my medication despite having it, and I had to spend hours talking to different people every refill. Then they billed the wrong insurance despite two different people assuring me they were billing the new insurance, and I had to spend hours talking to different people again only for them to say they can't bill the new insurance because the prior authorization wasn't in place, which is only because they billed the wrong insurance in the first place. Horrible, horrible company and every person you talk to will have no idea what is actually going on or how to help. Do not ever use this company if possible.

Representatives are very hard to understand and communicate with. My rheumatologist switched my injections to a new brand because I was starting to have a reaction to the old one. Finally, got the first one ordered and I specifically asked about copay assistance like I had with the old shot. I was assured that I did have copay assistance. She even told me what my out of pocket would be after my insurance, but before my copay assistance would be applied. Ok, great. Ordered it, received it, took it. Went to order the next months on the app. Said I couldn't order unless I paid $2300! I called them and was told there had never been any copay assistance for the new medication. I was straight up lied to. Beginning on August 1st, I became eligible for Medicare as well. (I am on disability). Now, no copay programs will help me because I have Medicare, even though I did not have it for the first dose. I feel like they are withholding my medication because I can't pay for their mistake. I can't get any other medications because they all go through Accredo! I have had severe rheumatoid arthritis for nearly 24 years and need my medication!

Absolutely terrible experience. If I could give 0 or even negative stars, I would. My prescription has been in a "final quality check" for the past 3 weeks. Every time I call, I get nowhere. The same response is "it's in processing". It's a pre-packaged pen, it's not like they need to count out pills or measure a vial or anything. Just grab the box off the shelf and put it in the mail. How hard can that be? !? Unfortunately, I am stuck with this pharmacy via my insurance. Garbage company.

Have been waiting for over a week to get my prescription looked at by the pharmacist. Followed up 4x with the company. Their customer service could not provide an update on why it was delayed - they had no idea My doctor had to fax over my prescription multiple times. This company is a joke.

Accredo has been automatically filling a prescription for the last few months. This month’s medication didn’t arrive, so I called last week and was told the pharmacist would deal with it. Today I called back and was told there was a problem with the authorization. Why didn’t they say so on Friday, when I had time to straighten it out?

They really burned me on this.

I live in NY and have a complex disease. The medication my doctor prescribed unfortunately has to come from accredo pharmacy. My medication was approved for 6 months starting from 3/6 to 10/2. Today is 4/19 and i still do not have my medication. Every representative I i have spoken to has told me something different. Also, the people who are answering the phones are working from home with little to no education from all over United States. If you suffer from cystic fibrosis, immune disease, onocology just to name a few. I am sorry to say your health will deteriorate before you receive medication if at all. I do not understand how this is being allowed to go on continuosly. Every location has horrible reviews. Good luck if you have to rely on this company for medical help.

Absolutely zero stars. Terrible customer care. If you have any other options go with them. Horrible systems that don't work. Everytime I interact with them we have issues and it's for really simple issues. My blood is boiling with frustration.

Garbage company that delays my life saving medication and then doesn't even notify me. I have to call their support every 3 months to get my refills because their system is so broken. Absolute trash and I would never used them if not forced to. Maybe I need to find a new job that doesn't use Accredo - yes, they are that bad.

I'm hoping I can come back and update this with a better experience, but I was left incredibly frustrated today. I was prescribed a new medication, and my dermatologist told me to expect a phone call from Accredo. I was checking for missed calls and voicemails, but wasn't seeing anything. In all the stress from my health issues, 2 weeks went by when I realized wait, I should definitely have gotten some progress by now. So I called the number, and the automated voice let me know that my prescription was processing, and I would receive a communication when it was ready to be scheduled. Then the line went silent, so I hung up. The next couple days I thought something still didn't seem right, so I called back to talk with an actual person. The same message about my prescription processing was played. Then silence. THEN the recording said there was an issue and I needed to speak with an agent to provide additional information. Thankfully the hold time wasn't long, but I'm not sure what information they needed because I didn't tell them anything new. I'll need to wait a week for the medicine, and thankfully my symptoms have improved a little bit, because I was definitely crying on multiple occasions over the past couple weeks because I've been so miserable waiting for this medicine.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that I was given the run-around when they have my number on file and should've called me first. Do they handle people's important medications, or not?

As a nurse case manager working with patients in addiction and recovery, I have to order most of my medications through specialty pharmacies for patients. I will ONLY use Accredo if a patient's insurance literally forces me to and won't give me any other option. From having to send the same script 3-4 times for every patient, talking to 5 or so reps every time that still can't help you (supervisor included) but inform you that nothing you'de previously completed with the other 4 you spoke with before being transferred to the 5th was actually completed or can be found in their system, requesting expedited processing on the 2nd, 8th, 13th and so on of the month and still not having the medication even ready for verbal patient consent to fill and schedule delivery because it's STILL processing on the 30th day. I mean WOW! I genuinely just tell most of the patients that are forced to rely on Accredo for their medication that there is a very slim chance that they'll ever manage to have it here in time for discharge 30 DAYS FROM NOW! Reading these other reviews is just sad.please stop making deals with insurance companies that back people into your corner for their life saving needs if you can't fulfill even a fraction of them.

This pharmacy is awful. They have been gatekeeping the medicine our children need, because we are "new patients" with the pharmacy. They continue to say that they will call us back in 24 to 48 hours. This all started back in January. It's now the second week of February. The customer service is absolutely the worst ever. They have no answers, no help, and they push the blame on to everyone else.

We have no choice but to deal with these awful people.

Absolutely terrible to work with, no one knows what they’re doing and it’s impossible to get anything ordered. Ordered 2 months ago and multiple calls later, including an hour call with my insurance provider and still not ordered. Absolutely ridiculous.

This company is on the list for thee worst! How the agents just transfer you to liberty mutual, transferred back into que because I request a supervisor after waiting 2 weeks for this company to deliver my medical. Just to get a supervisor I had to tell these people I'm on a 3-way with my doctor! This can't be the way any specialty pharmacy is supposed to be.

They don’t care at all about you getting your medicine. They’ll promise to call you, and never do. Then when you call them all they do is apologize and not actually help. A complete joke of a company.
