ACME Markets reviews
20Always great service and polite, helpful staff. I've only had a problem once or twice but as long as you notify someone, it gets fixed quickly. Good prices and large range of products. Everything from cat and dog treats to newer drinks and healthy foods. I was very happy to find they had 647 bread and some other more obscure brands. My go-to grocery store.
Great market with phenomenal fruit and veggies. Low score because NOONE in the deli had a mask covering their noses.
This Acme is down the street from where I work, so it's an easy trip. Usually in and out pretty quickly. They also have the main products that I go there for. Nice thing is if they are out of something they have always had my backup choice. Have never left disappointed or empty handed. Workers are respectful and have good customer service skills. Top level supermarket. I go there as often as possible, because they are 5 star worthy.
The gentleman at customer service has absolutely no skill in working with people. I frequent this acme every week today unfortunately I forgot a bag and ironically the customer behind me at the same register left a bag. Common sense would say they probably took my bag by mistake. He blew me off and said I would have to talk to loss prevention. I again was confused by needing to speak to loss prevention he shook his head and laid it on the counter and I will quote what he said why are we having this conversation. Is this how your employees treat people? Needless to say I will not be shopping at this store anymore but I had to repurchase the items and I feel like I should be reimbursed for the additional money to rebuy the items that were left behind. I wish I video tapped him as he walked in the back to completely ignored me.
Meats, seafood and bakery are the best however the prices are a big high. Gone to this store for years. Produce needs work fresh fruit and veggies are disappointing
This acne is only about three blocks from our house so it's very convenient. We use their pharmacy which is wonderful. You rarely have to wait in line, they text you when your medicine is ready to be picked up. And they have a very good app. I was able to schedule my covid vaccine on their app for both me and my 15-year-old daughter. I will be going back next week to get my second shot. The store is always clean and the people that work there go out of their way to help you
Didn't have what I was looking for, but the time to be waited on was fast and cashier was friendly.
I love Acme! It's clean and friendly. Prices are a little high though. I always have a pleasant shopping experience at Acme.
Clean place Fresh sea food clean all the time very very good customer service But very expensive
Generally, I'm a fan of Acme. So when I received a coupon for $30 off my pickup order I decided to try it out. Overall the shopping/ordering part was simplistic and easy to use. Pickup was fairly easy too, as one can check in through a link that's provided and the groceries are brought right out to your vehicle. It wasn't until the inspection of all if the items upon arriving home that the additional 3 stars were lost. I made the mistake of including several kinds of fruit in my order, and it was apparent that the person hadn't put any effort into the selection. I received a bag of rotten clementines, several rotten plums, as well as some overly ripe pears and apple's.
So lesson learned, anything that I would normally spend a second or two on the selection process is now only for when I do my shopping in person.
I’ve been shopping at this acme for years as it’s literally a couple of blocks away from me. I don’t know what’s been going on within the paste month but the produce department is GARBAGE. I’ve received bad fruit from them on more than three occasions now and it’s ridiculous. They need to get it together or I’m gonna take my hard earned money to Sprouts.
Service was very good but the prices are getting ridiculously high especially the meats also it appears that you're pushing your signature brand instead of the name name brands which run out a lot of times been going to acme for 40 years
This store is a nice place to shop, but I noticed a lot of drama between the employees. Just loudness and disgruntled conversations. Maybe they should take it in the break room instead.
The Acme at 19th & Oregon is as terrible as almost every other Acme I have been to. Poor produce selection and high prices are at the top of my list. Today I paid $3.99 per pound for shallots and the only chicken thighs I could find were $6.99 per pound! Just ridiculous.
I brought a friend here who was visiting from Dallas. I had to show her that we do it better here in Philly. Acme represented.
It really is a good place for shopping! Although the problem is we had to wait a long time to pay for our stuff, (just because the amount of people)
First time visiting Acme in years. It's very clean, neat and orderly. The staff were very nice and friendly.
Mid size store, with wine and beer section. Deli and butcher have nice selection, bakery is usually backed up. A lot of stuff at Acme you can get cheaper somewhere else, I usually just come here for produce and meat, which their selection cant be beat at a grocery store in Philadelphia.
Do not ever buy meat from any ACME EVER! Without a doubt the worse beef, steak, pork, lamb and chicken that I have ever eaten and/or cooked in my life!
Save your money
Acme really helped me out on Mother's Day I was in search of beef tenderloin and they came through they also had nice lobster tails to complete my Mother's Day dinner and a wonderful selection of flowers thank you acme for making my day complete
