ACME Markets, Philadelphia PA

Store is a bit old and out of date, but it looks as though some recent renovations to the bakery and produce section have been made. The store now also sells alcohol which I'm extremely pleased about. It's about time!

Clean and bright. Staff appeared efficient and friendly. I liked the customer service rep at Western Union but there needed to be more than one rep at that station.

I really, really enjoy their fresh seafood and pre-cooked chicken. The Acme store manager in Roxborough support neighborhood events and small community functions. And they was kind enough to deliver chicken and other prepared items for a repast for free before the pandemic. Thanks you Acme!

They have a wine selection now! Way to go ACME! They also still have self check out and I appreciate them for having vegan items on rotation. Always clean and rarely crowded.

Needs an overhaul with new management

Employees are rude, lines are long, prices are high.

As one of the only large groceries in the neighborhood, I tolerate a frequently frustrating and never enjoyable experience at this Acme.

Hopefully corporate will read the bad press and make changes for the better. This neighborhood deserves so much more!

This supermarket needs to come into the light. High prices, they have not caught up with changing pallets. I drive 12 miles away to Wegmans.

Stood at bakery counter for at least 2 minutes while unbusy deli workers ignored me. I asked was anyone working in the bakery and one worker said, "she ain't there"? I thrn asked if they could get someone. Well that someone was her.

I was able to find everything I wanted. You have a great variety of items which is why I always enjoy my shopping experience!

I visited Acme at Germantown and Sedgwick looking for the Dietz and Watson hot dogs on sale for&5.00 it was false advertizment did, nt have any.

Always a disappointing experience. I only shop there because it's close to home. Horrible selection of food. Weirdly arranged. Too bad they have such a large footprint in Philly.

Neighborhood staple. Has been getting the job done for years. Couldn't imagine the neighborhood without it

Convinient right around the corner. Fresh & clean. Convenient Self Scan. Cashier Staff are nice. Some of young people at the deli/walking around can be more enthusiastic and helpful. Esp some of the young ladies at the deli who seems to just talk instead of helping you. But the lines for deli/seafood etc are always short with less than 3 people. I shop here & Aldi because the prices at Acme may be a little higher but it’s better quality with more organic options so that’s no issue.

It's a typical grocery chain store. Wish it had more fresh veggies, not packaged (e.g, string beans).

No one wants to do there job no more. Just call the 800 #. There take care of it. Store has good selection other wise. The star our for the selection.

People are friendly easy to check out
Sales are great too

Love shopping here isles are kept free. Product displays, shelves are easy to shop from. And you don't have to scan a card to take advantage of sales. Thank You ACME

I visit this Acme regularly because it is conveniently located for me. The staff is very kind and the place is kept in good shape. The prices are really high in my opinion. I think you can find better deals elsewhere or by signing up for a discount card.

The store was clean and well merchandise. I only gave 3 stars because the ladies room was horrible! They need to invest more time attention to that room.

Great full service food store. Prices are a high. Clean store. Fantastic lunch meat and seafood dept.
