ACME Markets reviews
19Staff at customer service ignored several customers and talked to each other instead of putting customers first. Long lines and a 15 minute wait caused me to walk out and go to another store.
Shopped in this Acme for years as was a Philly native born and raised.
Live in Maryland now.
Anyway up visiting Philly and walked into this Acme Harbison and Blvd.
Why didn't even recognize the place! Ultra modern very upgraded since I was last there.
Talk about fully stocked! 2 days before Thanksgiving.
And all trimmings for Thanksgiving
Turkey Gravy
Bruce's Yams
Brown Sugar
Marshmallows
You get the picture.
Everything I needed was in stock!
I went in especially with the goal of getting
Stroehmann Bread! For my homemade stuffing. Score! In stock.
Acme. Your awesome.
Not very happy with the bakery lately. They holler for in the back instead of coming to the counter to talk with you, and this was the department manager doing it. Needs better training.
Acme is always one of the best grocery stores in the area very friendly customer care and service.either at the register or customer service, especially Monica and the rest of the team 24/7 always available
I went to get their fried chicken. They are supposed to have until 8 PM. I was there at 6: 30, and they did not have any. I had a hard day at work, and was looking forward to eating this. There is a sign there that states this. There was other people looking to buy this also. This has me frustrated the way things are being handled. I got attitude. Things like this can make you lose customers for good.
Big, clean, great selection of items. Just a little disappointed could not find enough vegan it was almost nonexistent
I did so good today. I had $100 to spend. With the sales, rewards I redeemed and my 5% off for wearing my Eagles shirt, I spent $99.94.
They have good times that they sell out in Jersey markets. Very nicely decorated. They has two for five for the freshly made muffins.
Self checkout lady took her time helping me when the scanner questioned my coupon. She was 5ft away chatting with a friend about retirement. She was staring right at me knowing I needed her to put her code in to make the transaction complete yet just kept talking to her friend. Then when she did walk over to type in her code and fix it I said awesome thank you! I was super nice trying to change the mood she had but she never said thank you. So yeah not a great visit.
I usually love shopping atAcme markets, however, the fruit didn't look good and too many fruit flies. I will note that this was also the case in several other stores also, but, I expect better from Acme & Giant.
Everytime I go to this ACME to cash out a lottery ticket, I' am told by this male associate (Nick) who works at the western union, lottery, returns department.that he's not able to cash me out. I never have a problem with getting cashed out if it's a female working that department, it's just always the kid Nick who can never cash me out. I'm wondering do he no how to payout a lottery claim that's over $800? It's a supermarket it should be no way there always not able to cash me out every single time I stop in for a payout. I always end up going to ShopRite on Oxford & Levick and they cash me out Everytime. I only stop at ACME first because it's closer
I mainly went for the bank. It's a good thing I didn't want to shop because there were no carts outside or inside the door. There was hardly any customers so I have no idea why there were no carts. I just decided to shop at another store.
Clean and well stocked store. Some prices are high, but you get what you pay for. Their fruits and vegetables last longer if not used right away. Great place to get steam shrimp and crab legs as well as beautiful flowers that don't wilt easily.
Employees were helpful and personable. The store has had the same rotting fish smell it had the last time I was there (years ago).
Place is a disaster. Wegmans prices for Walmart quality food. Will only have one register open during peak hours. Avoid this place. It will take you longer to get out then any other supermarket in the area.
Lost phone in cart parking lot, went about 20 min drive and noticed it was gone, called and someone actually handed it in. They explained in detail about my 30.00 insurance, fruit and veggies allowance, and helped me through the self check out. Very kind!
I'm looking for cat food today out of cat food and litter but they had it there and I know what's going on but it's coming the
The guys know me there im usually the last shopper of the night. They are great with my kids and with their deals and rewards. And if I missed the bank they will cash my check! Awesome store!
No counters/cashiers open at the end of the day except self-checkout which is very annoying if you are buying bunch of stuff - asking a rep near the self-checkout didn't help.
