Adolf Biecker Spa/Salon reviews
19I've been seeing Gabby for over 10 years for waxing and getting my hair cut for just as long with a stylist that has recently left as a result of covid. I love Gabby, she's professional, personable and remembers me even though I'm only a 2x a year client (I grow my hair out to donate so I only get 2x a year trims and waxes). The front desk staff always seems to remember me, and though I'm sometimes intimidated by how stylish and professional everyone is, that hasn't stopped me from being a regular since 2007. I have had highlights done here in the past and have loved them. I would recommend!
I had a beautiful haircut from OLIVIA in Adolf biecker, I showed her picture and she did exactly loving my hair style
Staff is friendly and professional. Rick does a great job cutting and styling. I won’t let anyone else cut my hair. Hair color is beautiful and my hair does not feel dry or damaged. I travel 45 to 50 minutes to this salon every 3 weeks. Never mind because I know I will always be happy when I leave
Great location. I get my hair cut and colored here (seperate stylists). Always leave pleased. Felt very safe during Covid. Highly recommend.
I’ve been going to Courtney for beach wave blow outs for over a year. Her work is simply outstanding! I’ve tried many stylists in the area to do my hair for events but Courtney is the best. I also have to say that the salon is beautifully managed and super clean. I highly recommend the salon.
I came to get a hair cut and highlights. I was very nice to everyone and salon’s staff was nice too. But when I set down for consultation with the hair cut stylist, I explained to her that during Covid-19, i cut my own hair. I asked her to fix it and do her best. I told her that i am open to suggestions, it was up to her how she wants to go about fixing my hair.
I showed her pictures of hair styles I like and we decided on long side bangs and just straighten out the back of my head (i said, don’t worry if you cut too much- my hair grows fast.
Suddenly, manager of the salon comes up to me and says that they cant help me - She asked me to leave. Apparently, both junior stylists, one for hair cut and another for highlights, didn’t feel comfortable doing my hair because they thought I wouldn’t be satisfied.
Not sure why I was treated like I wasn’t even human: my mother prepaid for all my services and I was going to tip very nice, so money is not the problem. I am an immigrant with a Russian accent; so I cant help but think that Adolf Biecker doesn’t provide service to people from Eastern Europe? I know this was discrimination and It makes me so sad and angry; after all - I still need my hair done, i have a meeting on Monday and I have $100 gift certificate to AB salon - but they refused to provide service. Is this legal? What did I do wrong?
Management of Adolf Biecker, you cant do this to people- I told you that I need a senior stylist- you could have listened to me, instead of focusing on my accent plus I have a gift certificate.
Those young girls (my 2 junior stylists) don’t have enough experience to properly cut my hair. I normally get advice from my hairdresser. But here, when I asked for advice, She freaked, said that we are not on the same page and called the manager.
Why was I treated this way? Why was I refused service? I need a reason.
My family and I have been going here for many years. Super friendly staff and a great facility!
Lovely salon, great service, easy to book appointments. Got the Swedish massage and it was really well done.
Cut the hair on my head please. Adolf Biecker has been my spot for years. The staff is all around excellent. Special shout to Jim. He is the most bestest. Love the guy. His schedule is jammed and with good reason. Really though, you can't go wrong with anyone on the crew.
I love this salon. They have amazing service. The employees are all very nice. If you are interested in their products, they are very helpful in giving you information on which products are best for you.
When making my appointment I was reassured that the person cutting my hair had plenty of experience and was good. I went in for a simple haircut (cut 1 inch off and layered). Super simple directions - apparently not! The hairdresser cut 3-4 inches off and didn’t even layer it. The haircut took less than 10 minutes. When I called to speak with the manager she was gone for the day, so I left a message with the receptionist- I’ve yet to get a call back from someone. I paid $50 for a haircut that took less then 10 mins and she didn’t even do what I asked - I left absolutely hating the haircut.
Great services, very nice folks working there, but the owners are not wonderful if you are dissatisfied with your service
CLEARLY: the customer does not matter to this prima donna outfit. Do not expect pampering, or even common courtesy. Excuses, blaming, buck passing, other behaviors unconscionable to any self-respecting proprietor of a customer service industry. And no, the value of the product is not exceptional. These folks cannot compete with NYC. They cannot compete with the slums of NYC. The whining, victimized rationalizations, denial & minimization of the administration's response to notable incompetence makes women in business look ill suited indeed to commerce. It is an embarrassment to witness a vice-president pout, sulk & utter lamentations on her own behalf when asked for accountability.
All brides beware! You DON'T want to be running late on your big day. They will not give you any priority. They might give you a hand message beforehand but that is only if you have the entire day to spare.a hand message is not as important as running at least a half an hour late. I hope you will take more consideration to this review then they did to my big day!
Very convenient spot for anyone that lives on the main line - you can make appointments via phone or online. I would hgihly recommend Deborah - she is fantastic! She takes her time and makes sure you look PERFECT before leaving
I went to the salon last month for a mens haircut. The staff was very professional and courteous. I have been to many salons but found from the shampoo girl to my stylist Christina everything was totally PERFECT! I will be returning for regular hair care from now on! Thank you to the great staff and awesome stylist Christina, I now have total confidence in my hair care!
Highly recommend Gabby the esthetician, she is so knowledgeable, gentle and such a genuine person
Alyssa fixed my botched Balayage and did a fantastic job. Then Christina blew me out; it was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend this salon. I got exactly what I wanted.
I have been going to Adolph Biecker for years. I had my hair colored and the grays were coming in before two weeks. I called to let them know and I know there is a 2 week.window where they color your hair again free of charge. I called and every one I spoke to was rude and had absolutely no customer service skills. They wanted me to pay again for the hair color and offered no compromise or did not live up to their two week window, which almost every other hair salon does.
