Normally I go to Autozone, because 9 times out of 10 they have what I need, unless it’s body repair stuff. But after calling around 5-6 part stores in the area to find 3m sanding sponges, Advance seemed to be the only place to have this item, many other parts store locations couldn’t even get them shipped from another store or from the warehouse. After giving the part number and talking to a store associate I was told I could pick up the sanding sponges tomorrow after they were delivered to the store and they would hold them for me. When I arrived nobody seemed to know anything about the order, which “wasn’t in their system”. General confusion amongst the staff regarding the disappearance of/lack of the item. Took about 5 minutes to figure out they don’t have it, which was apparent to me after 45 seconds at the counter. No other local stores had the item and yet again, I was reminded why I avoid Advance Auto in the first place. In a last ditch effort to not end up behind schedule because of the ineptitude of the team at Advanced and my inability to remember past shortcomings, I figured I’d call O’Reilly's, who not only had the part, but physically went and checked the stock, then held it until I arrived at the store. Thanks O’Reilly's! That’s how it’s done!

Have had mixed experiences with Advanced especially when the part needed is not in store. Today needed a tool loaner for brakes. This is an awesome program they extend to customers, so you don't have to buy specialized tools for a once in a blue moon job maintaining your vehicle. Darrell was very helpful and informative. Great customer experience. Thank you.

I went to the pleasant hills store this morning the associate David refused to help me because the mask I was wearing did not meet his standards 1 it was a bandana same as a lot of us are using 2 ive got a medical condition that restricts my breathing to begin with therefore that is the only covering possible very rude and inconsiderate of my medical condition I will not be back and will let everyone I know about this

I placed an order online and the order got cancelled somewhere along the lines. The associate called me and informed me what happened and then proceeded to reorder the brakes. I went to the store to pick up the brakes and there was issues applying my discounts that would have been applied online.

The associate, Joe, took the time to address the issue, tried multiple different ways to correct the order, and in the end was able to give me my brakes with my discounts and rewards. I was very happy with the assistance Joe provided and would recommend this store.

The associate was knowledgeable and friendly and took no time at all to accurately answer my questions and quickly provide a solution to the problem. A+ customer service.

I have been a customer at this store for years. A lot of the same people have worked there this whole time. I can't show enough gratitude for their help. Mario and the entire crew go out of their way to help, compared to other auto parts stores I've been to.
I would recommend this store and crew to anyone.

Horrible service! Get promo code for 25% off for online purchase for store pick up. Would not process the order. Even the sales associate in the store on 51 in Pleasant Hills tried it. No luck. They still would not give the the 25% off my purchase. They told me to call the Corp office. Nope! Wasted enough time with AAuto! They are aware that there are parts stores, Autozone, Pepboys, O'Reillys, Napa, etc! They just lost a customer!

Mike was a great help in finding out what part I needed for my vehicle. They didn't have it in stock, but were able to get it ordered in a reasonable amount of time.

I love Advance Auto, especially this store. One of their employees, Mr. Rick, is super helpful and very friendly. I had a bunch of $5 off coupons to use and he was kind enough to break up my purchases into multiple transactions so I could use all of my coupons! We spent probably a good 10 minutes completing all of my transactions but he didnt care and was happy to do it for me! That's just awesome customer service and one of the main reasons I shop almost exclusively at this store for all of my automotive needs.
