Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery - Flourtown reviews
12Nice clean and modern office! The staff are nice. My PA Jared, listens and is super helpful to diagnose and treat my skin problems. The topical meds worked! Super happy. Eczema isn’t fun. But now I feel so much better.
Excellent care and communication by Christian Albornoz MD. He takes his time and provides outstanding advice on preventative skin care. I highly recommend this practice at the Flourtown location.
I saw the doctor and received a diagnosis along with a treatment plan. The treatment plan stated I was to use 2 different medications two times a day each medication at a different time- thus I would be applying the 2 medications total of 4 times a day. I asked that the prescription be sent to express scripts- The doctor told me he wanted me to start asap and so would rather send it to a local pharmacy. I gave him the name and address of the pharmacy near me. When I went to pick it up- I found out that he sent it to a different pharmacy and that they would have the following AM. I went back to the pharmacy the following morning knowing that the MD had stressed the importance of starting the medication quickly- I found that instead of 2 prescriptions only 1 had been ordered. I called the office to ask about this. I never heard back from the office so later in the afternoon I called to check on this issue and was told by the office manager that they doctor was seeing patients every 10 minutes and he had not responded to the message she sent -
I never heard back from the office. This lack of service is appalling and unprofessional. Btw since it will now be 2 days before I get the medication and therefore could have been ordered to express scripts with a request for expedited delivery!
With regards to the Flourtown office-I do not recommend to anyone with even a hint of melanin in their skin. Front desk staff is rude/unprofessional, and quality of service is certainly selective based on race.
The receptionist at the veree road location is so bad she messed up my chart and also is rude to any non Russia. Speaking patient. I will have my stitches removed elsewhere before it’s too late
Advanced Dermatology took over Philadelphia Institute of Dermatology, where I have been seen since 2001. Now everything is a money grab - I am charged twice by the Dr and then by the national chain/practice for every office visit. The patient portal ID and password I was given have never worked properly. In over 20 years of seeing a dermatologist, and having had many moles removed, I have never EVER seen a practice charge for seeing the doctor (who I did not even actually see) for suture removal associated with a prior procedure. Sutures were removed by a nurse, never saw the doctor that day at all. I have great insurance, but this is insane - I won't be back.
Provider and assistant were professional, personable, and knowledgeable. They took time to address my concerns.
I am tried of being asked to fill out the survey. I filled it out and there was no way to send it! Stop asking me to fill out the survey! Once was enough. You should make it easier to send off!
Everyone is professional, helpful and friendly. They explain things clearly and are willing to answer all questions. Service was efficient and effective.
I usually dread going to the Dermatologist because of long waits. My last visit was the shortest amount of time, start to finish, that I spent at the Dermatologist office. The staff was friendly & the medical professionals took their time with me. Great visit!
Honestly Doctor Albornoz was wonderful. I felt very comfortable the staff was friendly and professional. I also did not feel rushed they let me talk and ask questions.
Excellent service. It's nice to go to a doctors office with people who are helpful and smiling. Service was professional and helpful and very respectful of me and my time.
