Advantage Towing, Carnegie PA

My bf spent all day trying to get a tow through his insurance, through which he pays extra every month for towing.

I came home and put a ticket in through AAA. The guy from Advantage called me like 15 minutes later to let me know he was 5 minutes up the road.

Timothy Woods! What a life saver! I got my car in an impossible situation where it was stuck on a hillside and about to flip over. Somehow he bent the laws of physics and got me out of there safely. Impressive expertise, super nice guy, and he even showed up before the ETA I was given. Wish I could give him 6 stars.

-0 stars. I was sold a NON AAA battery! Now I am screwed, jumping through hoops w AAA! The techs name is Jason. This company has to stand by this techinician otherwise they could possibly lose their license and possibly their contract w AAA. Why can't they just do the right thung and swap it out? The manager insinuated that I would swap out a battery (I have no tools or knowledge on installing batteries at that!). That has a 36 month warranty on it. C'mon please give me the right battery and resolve this issue easily!

Wonderful experience with Advantage this morning. Prompt, communicative, kind, efficient. Found my exact location when other companies could not and provided excellent service. They are the only tow service I will utilize moving forward.

He also called me, to let me know my car was delivered safe and sound at the mechanic's shop destination. I couldn't be more pleased with your service!

Advantage Towing needs to teach their drivers the rules of the road and what a yield sign means. Today 9/30/2023 at 4: 10pm the flatbed driver with a blue car on it made no attempt to yield when he was coming off of the busway on to 376 west right before the Roslyn Farms exit. He entered the highway at a high rate of speed with no regard who he was merging into. I had to jam on the brakes almost causing a multiple car pileup because the Advantage Towing driver does not know what a yield sign means. Maybe this is their motive to cause accidents so that they can get a tow. It was all captured on dash cam. I can’t believe that AAA contracts with this company. AAA will be getting a copy of the dash cam video along with my complaint as well as Penn Dot for allowing this company to use the busway in an unsafe manor. Advantage Towing shame on you, do better!

Used Advantage Towing through my AAA for a fuel delivery.i made an oopsie doopsie and ran out of fuel (on a FRIDAY in southside after 5pm).

Savannah had called me once Advantage Towing had accepted my request. I was told i had a 30+ min wait time (understandable) but my Technician/Driver Sam was promptly there in less time. Both of them were more than kind, professional and nice.

Dont let the negative reviews turn you away, because my experience was a literal polar opposite. Would refer others along with use again with or without my AAA.

I've had some real horror stories with AAA providers, but advantage was really great. They communicated every step of the way, were honest about timelines, and showed up when they said they would. My driver Rizzo was friendly and skillful in loading and unloading my poor car.

Called AAA for a completely dead battery and Advantage Towing was here extremely quickly. Chris was professional, polite and makes me hope that if I ever need to use AAA again that I’ll get Advantage Towing dispatched again.

Company was dispatched through AAA. We canceled the call due to hottible customer service. They provided incorrect policy information, and the dispatcher and manager had an attitude and cut us off while we were speaking. The manager then hung up on us when explaining the situation and would not let them talk over us. I will be reporting them to AAA as well. I've dealt with several towing companies in my 11 years with AAA and have never encountered a company anywhere near this bad.hope to never have the displeasure of encountering them again.

My daughter was stranded in the rain on a Sunday; Advantage Towing was prompt, knowledgeable, curteous, and kind. He replaced her battery on site! I am so glad they were able to help her and she was safe being many miles from home. AAA and Advantage took great care of us! Thank you!

Good people.know what they are doing and care about how your car gets to where it needs to be.will call them again!

Tow driver and battery guys were great however the dispatch lady had them take it to the wrong mechanic shop over and hour away. Had they taken it to the right shop i could have had my car fixed same day but a 3 hpur delay kept me from gettingy car back for another day

I needed a tow last night in Scott Township and James was amazing! He kept me updated every step of the way to make sure I was safe and gave me exact ETAs when to expect him. Even though it was bitterly cold, his professionalism, friendly demeanor, and quick work never wavered. James thank you so much for taking care of everything and keeping me laughing during such a stressful situation. You were truly my angel last night!

Must Read! I called AAA at 8: 46pm and within 54 min from that call. I had the entire AAA/tow completed! OMG! I mean car dropped off at mechanic's too. All in 54 min. VERY professional tow truck driver + he answered all my questions and didn't seem annoyed with me:) They/he were VERY fast, efficient AND accommodating. Thank you. I app that during a chaotic time.

One of their drivers pulled a gun on me after assaulting me. After filing a report, I called the company to speak to someone in charge, or the owner, and the person on the phone refused to help in any way, which surprised me given the severity of what just happened. She demanded the plate number and additional information to help identify the driver, which I told her I’d only share with management. I offered her my name and number so someone else could reach out to me. She said she can’t help me and hung up on me twice. The driver was identified and arrested later. I hope someone higher up sees this and reaches out. There needs to be some serious training done with this company. The only two employees I interacted with were extremely unprofessional.

I would like to thank Advantage Towing in Maple Hts Oh for making a stressful day a little easier when my car needed towing. I called AAA and told them there was alot of things wrong and they suggested to send me a truck for these specific needs. Let's say the 1st 2 trucks were not from this establishment and they came without what I needed. The 3rd time Advantage Towing came and took care of my needs with no problem. The guy Jon was friendly and respectful took care of my vehicle. And I was very pleased with his work. I would like to thank Stephanie the dispatcher along with Jon and Muji. You all are a great team. Totally Satisfied!
