Pretty good went for lunch. Friendly and fast service. Just with the booth seats were more comfortable. But not bad overall.

I have tried here and there to give this place a chance. Bathroom smell’s horrible. And right after the chef is done cooking, the waitstaff gives you boxes and checks. Feels rushed, and foods just ok

Lots of sushi variety, and delicious entree varieties. A bit loud with conversation making it challenging to hear the server as well as the server hearing the customer. I also felt 'rushed' from the beginning, to order and then to finish and leave even though there were tables available.

I think this is one of the best restaurant for fast food.
Im totally satisfied to their services & food.you guys can check it for your dinner or launch time.

This was my first time going here absolutely loved it and will return. Food was delicious and made quote quickly hibachi style.

Dinner at a non hibachi table on a Saturday night (9/23). Ordered chicken and steak hibachi dinner. The worst I have ever had. Chicken hard as a rock and the steak was unchewable.

We went for an early dinner, around 2: 30pm. Though they had a full, waitress said only 4 items were avail. The hibachi was not done at the table, food was served cold, meat overcooked and all was served at rm temp. No appetizers available. The waitress brought the check and 2 to go boxes with our meal. I will never go back

Food had no flavor. Paid for double shrimp and got a single serving. Will never get take out from there again.

I will begin with the FOOD TASTED GREAT!
However, from the moment we sat down we were FORCED TO cram in a space that was already almost full. I asked the “manager” to move us to another area she told me to move to another location and she said bee aggressively that it would be ANOTHER 30 min. She tried to make one of our guests sit beside a woman who folded her hands and extended her elbows so she couldn’t sit beside her. I asked to speak to the owner. She told me she was the owner. That was a lie. I remained very professional and had a neutral body language throughout our entire visit here.
I stayed because we were visiting our daughter in college and this was where she wanted to eat. Had it just been me and my husband we would have left. We were the only African Americans in the entire building, so we knew what this was about.
Our waitress was AWFUL! She catered to the other party and her body language was terrible! We have a three year old. I had to ask for a booster seat. She brought out her drink in an adult glass and I had to ASK TWICE for a child’s cup. This was NOT a great experience.
She also charged us for extra sauces when we were sitting there eating.
I Was a server and have NEVER not left a tip but this had to be the smallest tip ever!
She came out of the establishment and ASKED me what she did wrong. I clearly wrote on the receipt” please work on your customer service and body language”. This chic came OUTSIDE YALL!
Talk about PRIVILEGE! If I had EVER done that at Red Lobster, Ruby Tuesday’s OR Logan’s I would have been FIRES and probably charged with harassment.
The chef was AMAZING and he did a great jo and the food was delicious.
This also wasn’t the cleanest place. There was some kind of substance on the blinds which I noticed when we were getting ready to leave. Disgusting!

In person great food service etc if ordered online they might forget some things and trying to call to get that taken care of they will tell you you can pick it up in person and if you don’t they won’t give you a refund or anything it’s annoying as someone who is out of town at the moment when I was told this I couldn’t sit by they wouldn’t fix a mistake they made

We have been coming here for at least 5 years and it is most of the time good. The waitress and waiters are always so nice. The sushi is most of the time very good. The hibachi is good. The bento boxes are okay. We did not like the pad Thai. It was kind of flavorless and they did not seem to care that we said that we didn’t like it. We always love the Philadelphia roll and the California roll. We also like the eel cucumber. The white tuna is a little less consistent, but when it is good, it is good.

Servers don't talk to you, Sushi used to taste great and not everything taste like a two day old fish. If you want great food take the drive to Johnstown and go to KABUKI. I have given Aki all of my business until today. I'm sorry but something needs to change at Aki. KABUKI reminds me of the sushi you get at the Beach. Aki please step your service, food, staff, and cleaning up!

Always have a great experience there. They always have great food and service. I always end up with leftovers which from this place is great and love to eat here whenever we come to Altoona.

I love when the guy makes tricks like the onion volcano. The other tricks are very entertaining like the shrimp toss were the guy picks a person and throws a peice of shrimp into the person's mouth.

Love the hibachi. And they honor our special request of no onions in the veggies, but extra carrots we eat here a good bit love their yum yum sauce. Service in the dining area has improved with us the last few times we had a courteous waiter who checked on us and brought us refills on our drinks.

Meh, food is honestly not that great. The vegetables are like steamed frozen veggies with a little sauce. The steak is extremely rare (just barely seared on the outside). The fried rice is good, no complaints there. And finally the clear miso soup is good but quite salty.

Honestly it’s a very average experience for those ordering takeout.

If I go to their teppenyaki area next time I will amend my review based on the experience.

The food is very delicious, the sushi is also very fresh, and the teppanyaki chef also interacts with us. It's a great experience. We will come back to Aki often

First and last time at aki, I kindly asked for TWO chicken teriyaki dinners and ended up only getting one instead of two. Zero eye contact and a foul attitude combined with the fact that the food tasted foul, I don't know whats used in the teriyaki sauce but I have never in my life tasted something like that, it didnt come close to tasting like teriyaki sauce. For the quality of the food the prices really p*** me off. I wouldn't bother with this place

The food was excellent and hot. The service was very friendly and fast. We sat in a booth but if you'd like the hibachi experience that's very entertaining.

The food was delicious and the service was spectacular. The waiter Rahman went above and beyond, it was clear he was very happy to help us and be our server. It was a joy to be there and I hope he is rewarded accordingly for his hard work and dedication. Will definitely come back to see Rahman again.
