Mediterranean Restaurant Al-Sham reviews
29Tried Al Sham this evening. Falafel, chicken shawarma, beef kabob. Great quality ingredients, authentic, delicious! Will be going back often!
The food is very delicious here. I gave them 5 stars for that reason. But twice I have gotten food from them and after eating almost all of it, I have came across hair, and no its not mine. May not be going back after this.
They have a variety of food. Prices are very reasonable and the food is good. You guys try it out and let me know what you think.
Yummy! Came here for lunch and tried the NY style chicken over rice. The rice is a type of brown (?), not the neon yellow of the city but everything was delicious and well seasoned. There's pickles with the salad. Service was quick and pleasant. Only $8
Al-Sham produces delicious, fresh and Halal/Kosher food. Cooked up at the point of order, the dishes are constructed to balance flavors and textures in a delightful way. It is more like a take-out joint than sit down restaurant, but they provide plenty of tables for those who want to enjoy the food at the peak of freshness. It is a great place for Arab food, and offers traditonal American options, too, for those picky eaters.
Middle eastern food and service at this location is super good.super savory.i look forward to going back again.this place has a great atmosphere.
Had a great experience here! The food was flavorful and delicious. The Cajun chicken hoagie was yummy and the two platters we got were very good also. Food was served warm and delicious. Most of all, the individuals working were extremely polite and humble and no problem answering questions. Will be back!
Dirty restaurant very dirty employees make your food with dirty hands no gloves. They don't have any gloves at the facility. Flies everywhere
Better to call in advance to place an order. Here on a Sunday and in waiting at least 45mins and it's not even busy. Prices are a lot cheaper on the trucks. But I guess if you worry about the cleanliness of the trucks than your better off here.
The food was good but the service was slow. Called in to pickup and was told 20 mins, waited another 20 after coming in. The shawarma sandwiches made up for the wait.
It is pretty crumby looking inside and out and the person who took my order was just going through the motions. I ordered two samosas and they came with a green sauce. The cook handed the bag to me with a smile and pleasant greeting. I took them because the cooking area was not well ventilated and the cooking odors are going to stink up my clothes. One samosa was smashed up a bit, they tasted ok, and the sauce was good.
I was all set to love this food, but I didn’t. They use curly parsley instead of flat parsley in the tabouli, which makes it bitter. They deep fry the pita chips on the fattoush (bread salad). The hummus and the baba ghanouj taste weird. And the meat is greasy. But everything seems fresh, and the faul (fava beans) was yummy. Overall, though, disappointed.
Was a great food, although it took Lil while. And the flat bread was not hot as temperature. I would suggest to order via phone before showing up to avoid wasting time on waiting for the food to be ready. Also it good to go through the menu first for more options.
Overall I loved the food it's delicious.
The food takes way too long and it isn't good at all. Not worth the wait. The staff is rude, ratchet and ghetto
Great food, fresh, well seasoned and made with care. Friendly staff will bring food to your table.small eating area.but cozy and friendly area. They are a bit slow in the kitchen, but the food is always good and made with almost religious attention to detail! Have eaten many times at both Al Sham's and it is always recommended.
It doesn't take 30 minutes to make shwarma. Also please don't insult me when I ask for a refund when the food is cold.
Had dinner last week, the food was horrible and old, no taste, no flavor, we ordered chicken kebab we got chicken tandoori, the rice tasted like sand. Called the place to complain about food I didn't get satisfactory answer, the manager is never there (called more than 3 times), overall the food was awful.
Food was unbelievably good! Service was incredible! I highly recommend this restaurant! If you like Middle Eastern food, this is definitely the right place to go! Staff is very friendly and helpful! Go here and you won't regret it!
The food is really good! The options are limited but taste great. I am a regular and I started noticing that the quality is going down. I noticed that my delivery items had stones in them. Does not happen often but it did.
Lacked deeper aroma and flavor. Clean taste though needing a bit more salt. Service was genuine and nice. Clean dining table, but a/c needs to be cranked up.
