Al Sham Restaurant 4, Philadelphia PA

This is my go to spot. Most times your order arrives before the estimated time. Once an item was forgotten and I called in, they immediately brought me the missing item.

The food is ok. I was a little disappointed I couldn't use the restroom. I'm pregnant and that made me an unhappy customer. This my third time going. The guy cook is very good.

Today was the 1st and last time I eat from here. I ordered buffalo wings fried hard and instead I received half done wings w hot sauce on them! They were baked I guess or at least that’s what it seems like and they’re tough bcuz they’re not fully done!

Excellent food. If you have to order take-out, get it from Al-Sham's. Care goes into making your meal.

Delicious authentic food. Exactly what I was looking for. Such a gem to have in Germantown! I will definitely order more and spread the word! (One thing that would be nice is thin slices of meat for shawarma:) )

Had to wait 25 minutes, with prayer music that made me feel uncomfortable and sleepy, order mix kebab got only 1 kind. (the cheapest)
The yellow rice has a taste of uncle Ben's rice: (- could not eat it.
Falafel was sour and too dense, Hummus was sour the American way - Not the middle eastern way. Pita's were the worst i've seen - even for the USA. Salad with 99.9% lettuce. Way too expensive for that.
Portions are generous and the service girls were clean and professional.that is the 2 stars they got.

Food was good but it took almost an hour to get my order ready and when asked about it they had a bad attitude

On my last vist lady cooking food wasnt wearing mask even on my insist she didnt not & manager gave me some BS excuse.

I used to go to the one on city avenue but when I moved to east falls a year a land half ago I started going to this one on Chelten. It was good for awhile. New management I believe and Honestly they are very hit or miss lately it’s been more miss. Order messed up badly in March gave them another chance a few weeks in between and then I get low quality food. You would think with corona going on they’d value their customers so this time yesterday actually I Ordered my favorite a mixed shawarma salad should be easy right? Well my lamb and Chicken was so Bland the chicken was overcooked it was hard as a rock. I mean this was pretty early in the day so I’m guessing the gave me chicken from the previous day you call they will fix but The lady gives you plenty of attitude. So after my last incident I didn’t wanna call again honestly just pass on them for awhile unless I go back to City avenue location this one has been xtremely downhill the past four months.

During these uncertain times, my husband and I are trying to explore and support local eateries.and I am happy to say, we hit the jackpot with Al Sham Restaurant 4.

We ordered delivery from Al Sham on a whim. The food arrived timely, hot, and fresh. We sampled a number of options and loved every single one. It was handsdown delicious. A new takeout staple for us.

Furthermore, the price was right. It filled us up and didn't break the bank.

We will continue to support their business from here on out. I feel robbed knowing they've been so close this whole time and I just experienced their cuisine. We suggest you try Al Sham out. You will not be disappointed.

Ordered a chicken quesadilla and the chicken was overcooked and dry, as if they cooked it earlier and left it sitting in a hot pan. The fries were good. Also ordered a cheesecake and tasted as if it was slightly spoiled. I called to inform the woman in the hijab and she said the chicken was made fresh. As someone who cooks and has worked in food service for over 10 years, I know it was not made fresh at all. Extremely disappointed. First and last time there. One star.

Wonderful dining experience. The food is delicious, the restaurant is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend and will continue to support.

My husband and I was looking for a place to eat it’s funny because he wanted to come here and I didn’t, but I’m happy that I did because we BOTH LOVED OUR FOOD! He ordered a chicken ceased wrap and I ordered a salmon wrap, DELICIOUS! Everything I look for in a restaurant they had it, very clean, friendly staff, a nice amount of food for your money.

The meals and service were above our expectations. We absolutely enjoyed the ambience of this restaurant. Nice place to take my family out for lunch.

One of the Middle East food. They have wraps, quesadillas, salad. They have best service and really nice people. I would recommend this place

Today was my first time trying the food & it was awful. I ordered the chicken Maroosh I ate a little bite of it & hated it. Secondly it’s unsanitary, the lady who cooked my food kept touching everything & trying to cook. I never understood how a person can touch their phone, & touching everything else & still trying to cook someone’s food. I can say the delivery driver had a good conversation. Overall I will never try their food again. Also they need better workers!

The food there is very delicious. They have a little bit of everything for people there. If you want American food they have it if you want Arabic food they have it. I like the spinach pie check it out when you get the chance.

My experience with them was not a very good one. My falafel was burned and very crunchy. Really could not eat it. My Shawarma was sloppy and nasty tasting. Returned my food for a refund.
