Aladdin's Eatery Squirrel Hill reviews
33Very good food every time, great service, prices are very reasonable and again, Pittsburgh parking sucks, go after 6 pm, parking still sucks but it's free.
Aladdin's has a wonderful menu that has plenty of options for both vegetarians and omnivores alike. The baklava, wraps, and shawarma are not to be missed, nor is their fantastic hummus. They carry a lovely selection of wines that can't seem to be found elsewhere. It's quite a treat. The space itself is open and filled with natural light, contributing to it's pleasantly relaxed ambiance. Both the staff and service are fantastic.
Really enjoyed the falafel and the tuna, and the hummus was quite good too. Very generous portions, even for the appetizers.
Amazing food, drinks and desserts. Perfect spot for dinner for 2 or a larger group. Parking right out front or parking lot across the street. Try their homemade hot sauce it’s amazing! They sell beer and wine or delicious smoothies. Take out available. I had the Farmers pizza on my visit it was very tasty.
Really friendly service, great food, nice atmosphere, affordable prices and reasonable portions.
Great service and prices! The restaurant is small but there wasn't a wait during the weekend lunch hour. I ordered a unique pizza topped with a myriad of vegetables and thought it was good! Definitely a filling meal, especially for the price. Per the area, there is metered parking only.
I've been coming to Aladdin's for years. It's a solid place with low prices, good food and friendly faces. The biggest problem is their service is very very slow. Every time. Whenever you come in. Through the years. Maybe it's a staffing issue, maybe it has to do with the big turnover rate of servers. It's worth a visit, just keep in mind that you'll spend a lot of time there
Great, fresh food and delicious desserts! Wonderful, friendly ambiance where you can bring the kids. Affordable.
The food and service here are both excellent. The times I've been here, the waitress was always very attentive to my needs (particularly making sure I didn't run out of their delicious mint tea). The food is always refreshing with their use of aromatic spices and fresh vegetables. I definitely recommend the hummus and chicken sambusek. They also have a rich assortment of desserts and a very expensive menu. Definitely recommended!
Usually like Aladdins but I just walked out after sitting at a table for 12 minutes without a server even giving us water, literally had two servers ignore us completely, one was actually delivering food to the table 2 feet from ours and no one acknowledged us. This is the first and only time I have gotten up and walked out of a restaurant, went to turkish kebab down the street and had water in 30 seconds.
Delicious food across the board. The mint tea in particular is a favorite of mine. I've never eaten there without also getting hummus as an appetizer. Friendly service too.
The falafels are crispy and tasty, everything else is just okay, did not leave me craving to go back here.
The shawarma sandwich was ok but the shish kebab sandwich had few small cubes of beef and was full of salad and veggies which made me feel I am eating a salad sandwich not shush kebab sandwich.
