We have had our family reunion and other functions here for decades! The facilities are nice and pretty well maintained.we use the Log Cabin for our reunion which is nice because it is enclosed so inclement weather is not an issue; It has a kitchenette and private bathrooms so no trekking to the other side of the park! The carousel is a beautiful piece of American history and something that can take anyone back to more carefree days if only for a few minutes!

I grew up here. I wish I had been raised somewhere I belong, all I know is this wasn't it. Still something draws me back like a nightmare.

The Albion Boro Park has one of the oldest carousels in the United States. Many childhood memories were made here. Summer time, the park was open to all kids. The carousel was open and running with old-time songs playing from a record player. One was "Music, Music, Music. " I can still heart the melody from that song being played over and over in my head. A newer playground has replaced the old "pump" swings and metal slide. It got hotter than heck in the summer. Playing in the creek was fun, filled with great memories. I cherish those days and am glad I have them to cherish.
