Supermarket ALDI reviews
18Love going here, but I don't like the fact that when I find something I like they seem to never get it back in stock, that goes for many items.
Never AGAIN! A pack of apple cinnamon donuts that were partially frozen, so I put in my refrigerator, next morning I went to get one and inside the package was loaded with bugs. Took video and put on social media to my 1.7 million followers!
Great prices, store brand items are just as good quality as name brands and they are starting to carry more name brands. Employees are nice.
Very rarely do they have sale items in stock.
My first time shopping at Aldi in ten (?) years. Most of what I went for (fresh fruit and vegetables) is not Aldi’s forte (and I am not buying in bulk). I only stopped because it was dark, rainy, cold and on the way. Shopping at Aldi is “for regulars”. Even though it was pretty empty, the other customers expected you to be in a hurry- and I was not. Not changing my shopping habits for a bunch of JOs.
Cashier Chelsea on register 2 (10/18/22 @ 5: 30pm) was very rude to me. Her register had just opened and I was second in line. I saw that 2 customers behind me had only a few items whereas I'm doing 3 instacart orders, so I let them go before me. My items were arranged in my cart by order and I had them separated before getting in line. My first order went smoothly. My second and third did not. I asked Chelsea to please put a certain order at the top of the shopping cart as to not get the orders confused and she replied "I'm working and I have to get the line down. You're doing instacart so you can go sort them after I'm done. That's your job". I told her she was very rude and all I asked was for her not to mix the items. She had no respect for me and rang continued to ring items from the third order on with the second which caused my receipts to be incorrect as well as me having to spend an addition 20 minutes resorting my items, not to mention I have to contact instacart support because the wrong customer got charged for certain items. Thanks for jeopardizing my good rating and making my deliveries be late Chelsea. She also did not greet me the same way she did customers before and after me. Also, when she was ringing my items and I'm trying to put more items on the belt, she kept demanding me to swipe my card. Not sure if she's racist or what. I've shopped at this location many times having multiple orders bigger than today's and have never had any issues.
Closest Aldi to me and it's a bust. The produce goes bad fast and every time I shop here they don't have a lot in stock travel 10 minutes up the road to the one by target and they're always great
I love this store. It always has what I'm looking for. The prices are great and the quality is as great. It's fun to see the new seasonal items they have. If you see it, get it, don't over think it, cause it won't be there long. As long as you have the receipt and change your mind, you can return it. I love the produce at Aldi's, it's fresh and delicious. They really help me cut my grocery bill down. Thank you Aldi
Aldi is one of the greatest grocery stores in the neighborhood. Great prices for organic and non organic produce and packaged items. Great home findings and surprises for all ages in the “Aldi isle of shame”.
Clean, well stocked store, great prices and quality fresh produce. Employees have always been helpful and friendly
Its a great little lower priced shop. (If you like that sort of thing) these places save money by having less staff so the lines can get on your nerves. They have a decent brand on most things too.
Oh ya bring your own bags, its a big help.
Good selection of fruit and vegetables. The dairy and meats sections were pretty bare though.
Worest service I ever had. I asked an employee where an item maybe and she gave me a look than told me it over there. I asked her if she cold show me and what happened next made me want to pull out my phone and record. She huffee and puffed dropped the box she was moving and said to me " it right over there where I told you" as she stomped an than walked over to where the item was. Also they only have on register open with a line almost to the back why other works are on the phone or where talking to each other about vulgar things. I mean honestly, I couldn't believe what was going on. So no don't shop here. The one in Langhorne is better.
Excellent prices. They don't have the stock and variety of bigger supermarkets but what they do have is great.
Update: Aldi is still a great place to shop for food products. Purchased soup crackers (oysterettes) for $0.89 a 10 oz bag. Try getting a bargain like that in Acme, Grant, or Shoprite.
I was at Aldi’s tonight with my elder sisters and there was a worker who had a nasty attitude. We were trying to buy a 12 pack of chicken. We go to the checkout and the cashier says that we can only buy one pack of chicken per family, see now this was a problem because we have a family of 6 and cannot only share a 12 pack.
Alright, hear me out about this five star. Everyone's experiences are different and the only reason why I gave Aldi's a five star is because even with the current price influx they're still pretty damn cheap. I got a whole bag of various produce and other goods for less than 20 bucks! I'm frikkin' broke so that right there is great! And the selection they have isn't half bad either. Aldi's is a constant grocery stop for me, I highly recommend checking them out!
Besides good selection and great prices, I'm glad they put this Aldi close to my house sure comes in handy
A nice place to shop, prices are very good, there is no express line or self checkout and sometimes there are long lined
Friendly cashiers and Great selection. And the Prices are Amazing for the quality of Food you get, Healthier than most Groceries stores. That's why the bread doesn't last past a week, (less additives and preservatives)
