7Great fish sandwiches or dinners and greater people working there. If you haven't tried it you have to give it a try.
Still looks like it did when I was growing up.
My Grandpa used to bring us fish every weekend from the Croatian Club.
We were there for so may functions. It was always just apart of our lives.
After being home for the past week I had to order fish and see if it tasted the same. It did, DELICIOUS!
I have lived in the South for 20 years and the still can't get a Fish fry right for Lent. I may never know the secret but, home is where you get it!
I hope the younger generation after ours realize how important these places are
I’ve patronized the Croatian Center in Aliquippa for many years. Their fish was the best in the Valley. Most of their food was top of the line. Unfortunately, a few Friday’s ago I took a few friends and I was telling them about the great food and the fair prices. Most of us ordered either a fish dinner or a fish sandwich. We also ordered sides. I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed we were. The fish was awful. Thin, bony and practically inedible. Not just mine but the opinion of the entire group. The sides were also substandard. I ordered loaded pierogies but I received two pierogies with onions and butter. They were overcooked and the stuffing was not evident. We left quickly after being served. I can’t believe this is the Croatian Club I used to enjoy and love. We ended at Police Station Pizza and had awesome pizza.
PS: The salad bar has been long gone. Because of my familiarity with the Croatian Center, I will give them another try during Lent. Hopefully, they will be back to business as usual.
This place in my opinion has the best fresh fish meal. No other can compare. Other places can't compare to the amount of fish you receive.
The "Crow Club". Food, drinks friends & family. Even if they aren't, they become like.
Awesome fish, mac and cheese, and haluski. Everyone is nice, friendly, welcoming. Great experience!
