All Pets Veterinary Wellness Clinic reviews
13I have been here twice and I'm beyond pleased. I had my lab pup fixed in September and had my sons kitten neutered in December. Extremely friendly, super helpful and knowledgeable, and very affordable compared to other clinics in the area. The also except paws vouchers. I highly recommend especially for spay/ neuter appointments!
Super nice people! They helped me out along with 100 Cats Foundation getting some stray cats fixed. Thumbs up!
I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate Doctor Cruden and his staff. I have reached out to them in a time of need three times now for acute issues for 3 different reptiles. So often someone won't come even close to one of our rescue snakes, and to my surprise, Dr. Crudens staff opened up a very sick snake's enclosure and reached right in for the sick snake as of it were an 8 week old puppy with zero species discrimination. That was my very first impression of AllPets and I will never forget that. They truly love ALL animals. I was expecting to pay a larger bill, and to my surprise it was incredibly reasonable! AllPets has been a lifesaver for me and I highly recommend Dr Cruden and his all-star staff!
Called asked if they take new patients, she said yes then proceeded to tell me they can't help till November, I have a puppy with a dislocated leg. How TF does that help me.
Dr. Cruden is wonderful with our bird. We drive an hour to visit a vet that is knowledgeable about birds, and he's been great.
Absolutely the best! Saved my dogs life when cp vets wanted 5,000.00 to do surgery to save her. All pets did surgery cheaper and actually cared about my dog instead of seeing money signs. I almost had her put to sleep because I couldn't afford 5000.00. Absolutely a place of caring and generous people.
Sadly changing my 5-star review from 3 years ago to a 1-star and honestly I wouldn't even give it that at this point. Dr. Cruden is becoming just like all the other vets around State college greedy and selfish and lie about the pricing. Pretty pathetic. Especially when I thought he was an actual decent vet and I used him for not only my own pets but feral cats and used to tell everybody how great he was. However he is definitely lost a very loyal customer today and I will definitely let anybody that I used to say good things about him to let them know as well.
Lmao.the issue isn't the cost.it's that you guys are liars! I was told $200 or under originally, then told it would be $375 if testicle didn't drop, I called today as his testicle did drop and was now told $300 or over. Ridiculous. You don't even have an accurate price to give people? And I have found Allegheny pets who do it for $140.much better and I'd rather go to 4 springs than a liar vet any day! Thank you.
I have been using Dr. Cruden as my primary vet for over 5 years now. It's great having a vet that can care for my variety of pets.
He strives to care for the overall wellness of your pets through yearly testing, preventatives, and keeping vaccines up to date rather than doing the bare minimum.
Even with inflation, cost of supplies rising, and the large demand for veterinary services, his prices are much more affordable than other vets in the area.
They also accept new patients, participate with voucher programs, and have a 2-3 month wait time whereas other veterinarians are booking over 6 months in advance.
Dr. Cruden and his staff greatly appreciate their loyal customers and are thankful for the kind clients who understand that the schedule is overbooked and the clinic is understaffed.
If you're reading this review, please remember to be kind to those in the medical field and please do not get a pet if you cannot afford one.:)
Dr. Cruden is great with birds, and that's just what I need. I took my parakeet to him once a couple of years ago for a nail trim and a checkup- it was hard to tell much from that, but I was glad to find an avian vet in the area. I actually went a while without scheduling my two birds because All Pets relocated and I thought they had closed. Recently, I learned that the office is still open, and shortly after, my parakeet became ill. I brought her in and the doctor was very thorough, gentle, careful, and reassuring. Ultimately, it seems that she had been suffering from a GI upset and had recovered, but the peace of mind was very worth the time and money. He had great advice on case she should become ill again and explained very clearly what he believed about her symptoms and issues. I've now got my second bird on the schedule to be seen for his first checkup!
I was referred to All Pets by a friend because my dog is somewhat aggressive. Dr. Cruden was fantastic and unfazed by my dogs size and mean growling behavior.
My dog needed to have shots, nails clipped and to be neutered. The Doc.was able to sedate my big mean love pup in a matter of seconds with no muzzle or upsetting him. The kicker for me is when the Doc.entered the room, turned off the light and gave my dog a pillow to lay his head on when he fell asleep.
All I can say is Thank you Dr. Cruden
M. B. Cruden has seen our beardie multiple times since he was a tiny thing. Crudens answers and assessments always checks out! He has a great personality and definitely can trust him with our bearded dragon. They are a great team. My family also goes there for cats. Very friendly and kind! Strongly suggested
Our dog Jasper went to All Pets since we first adopted him as a senior dog. We had to have him neutered and all shots given because the previous owner did not do, or had no records of those things. I was nervous about how Jasper would handle the surgery and recovery at his age, but things turned out great.
We also had an eyelid surgery done for his entropion. It brought him immediately relief and held up well. Between this and several dental cleanings we were very happy (despite nervousness around anesthesia) with the outcome of all the major procedures he had done.
Jasper passed away this week after having some episodes in the past several weeks affecting his heart and breathing that were caused by a large, late stage tumor growing on his heart, which we learned after we brought him to Metzger. We are thankful that he had great care from Dr. Crudem while he was alive.
The wait times for appointments can be long (usually 2-3 months for us) but I hear this is a problem everywhere.
