I started coming here when my rottie needed TPLO surgery. While recovering from her first surgery, she ended up tearing her other CCL and needed a second one. Both surgeries went very smoothly and only cost me the price of one surgery at surrounding vets. Not only are their prices good, they are excellent people and always provide my pets with amazing care. They are always able to schedule me quickly when I need my pet seen and I’ve never had to wait. This isn’t the first vet I’ve gone to with my furry family, but I plan it to be the last one.

I’ve moved a couple times since getting my dog and have seen multiple vets. Allegheny Veterinary Associates are by far the best! They make me feel heard, respect my wishes, and most importantly love on my dog like she is one of their own.

Very caring pet clinic. When I had an emergency, they got me in to see Vet Dr. Nikki asap. I can not say enough good things about them. Wonderful people!

They treat Bo with so much love and are always in a great mood. From the first time I brought Bo in for his first checkup all the way to 2 1/2 years of him going they are there for you. It's more than just a Vet, they are like family with your pet. That being said they will go out of their way and call to check on your animal when they are not feeling the best. I've heard some horror stories about Banfield and Allegheny Veterinary is far from that. If you are in need of joining a amazing family then look no further.

My remodeling business did their initial remodel long time ago. I continue to refer friends and neighbors to Dr. Chris and Dr. Nicole. I love hearing back how good they took care of my friends and their pets. There are a lot of choices - these folks are the ones I recommend!

I couldn’t recommend Allegheny veterinary associates and doctor Nikki more! I have always been able to get in quickly, and receive rational and affordable care. Many other vets in the area are focused on the business, whereas doctor Nikki is focused only on the pet’s needs.

The staff genuinely love my dog. Everyone is friendly. They are understanding of how expensive services are. They will work with you to discuss what is very necessary/what would be nice. They've performed multiple surgeries for my dog, way cheaper than other places we got estimates from. They are good at follow up care. I can always call if I have an issue and don't feel like I'm annoying them.

Everyone was very professional. It was my first visit with my rescue dog. Both doctors spent time with the dog. Got his shots. Reasonably priced. The female doctor spent a lot of time with my dog. Sat on the floor and was petting him. Can tell she genuinely cares for the animals.

Allegheny Veterinary is the best. We have been going there since they first opened. We highly recommend them.

Dr. Crowson has taken care of our dogs for the past few years. She's always kind and thorough and explains what she's doing. The staff are wonderful.

We took our 120 lb Chesapeake Bay retriever there because he blew out his knee. They did TPLO surgery on him, and the doctors, the staff, and everyone there were lovely. We just had our post-op visit, and Tonka has healed wonderfully. We also have a good friend whose dog went there for his TPLO surgery—he also recovered and is doing fantastic. This, combined with the fact that the veterinarian on Camp Horne Road was two times plus the amount for the identical surgery, we couldn't be happier. Dr. Chris and his wife, who performed the surgery, could not be more excellent, assuring people. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to undergo such a trying surgery with their pup. Also, the cost of half allows people who would need to put their puppies down because they couldn't afford the surgery an opportunity to do the surgery and still make the cost reasonable. They are the angels who take care of our angels.

I went to Allegheny Veterinary Associates because I was no longer happy with my former Vet. I wanted a smaller more hands on practice, where they know your pet and they know you. You're not just another paying client to them. The staff was warm and welcoming. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and Dr. Nicki was a delight! The office is clean and I really enjoyed the seasonal scent in the air. So glad my furbaby is back in a professional, welcoming and caring office!

We are a military family and moved back home to PA with our senior dog when my husband retired. Allegheny Veterinary Associates have made our transition so much easier and less stressful. So many things go into moving across the country, and moving with pets is difficult enough, let alone senior dogs with medications and health history to consider. They fit us in right away, it’s always easy to make an appointment or get medications refilled, tests done, etc. They are very sensible and don’t order/require unnecessary testing, etc. My dog is happy to go to the vet again after being scared of the vet for the past few years.
