WHATEVER YOU DO, do NOT become a patient of this doctor. I promise you, you’ll regret it. I was a patient of Dr. Gross a few years ago. In the year and a half I was treated there, I only saw him once, for less than five minutes. After that, I was only seen by his PA for an extremely short length of time each visit. She was very nice, but young, and did not seem to know what she was doing. I was taken off many of my meds I needed, and because of that, I experienced a severe relapse in my condition. I was almost hospitalized. It took me begging and pleading to get me back on them. I changed to a different office in Allentown because of this, and am receiving much better care. Horrible place. Whatever you do, do not choose this doctor.

They are extremely rude here, my boyfriend has been doing trial and error for over a year with “Doctor Gross” which is actually his assistant Jackie or something handling it all. Put him on multiple meds that increase heart rate without letting us know, when he has high blood pressure. Whenever we call, the reception lady is extremely rude. We have been hung up on more times then I can count or get “okay bye” and then hangup. Half the time they don’t answer the phone. Call off an unknown number, either late or early. Never on time. And we have asked them to call us back multiple occasions over the last year and only ONE TIME did they actually call back. They have no contact information to email them or anything. How unprofessional can a place get that’s supposed to handle people’s mental health - you’re just making it worse.

For anyone looking for a vigorous treatment with little to any support from the psychiatrist and people who are ruder then the grinch - I highly recommend Doctor Gross’s office.

I attempted to call at 3: 30 today, to make an appointment as a new patient, and the woman who picked up was exceptionally rude.

I informed her of my situation and that I needed an appointment for anxiety, and she started raising her voice at me, and after I told her I understood the doctor would not fill out ADA Accommodation paperwork immediately, because to quote her "We arent here to fill out paperwork, we're here to get people better" and I wanted treatment for my anxiety overall because Im terrified of crowds, I asked her to stop yelling at me because I told her I had anxiety, and her tone was triggering it, she said "You're free to go somewhere else" and hung up.

Im now having an anxiety attack and panicked because of her. Whomever is taking their calls for appointments has no business speaking to anyone with mental health issues.
