Very disappointed at the way they mishandled their new client data entry mistake. My wife wanted to transfer my son's allergist because his prior allergist office is between 45 mins to an hour away. She spoke with one of the office staff to provide all the pertinent information. A few days later we dropped off their form to request the medical records from the prior allergist office. I took my son to the appointment at 2: 30 today but the doors were locked. I called the office number twice but could not get through to a person even though my son had seen people walking around in the office. We stood outside for 10 minutes knocking on the glass to get their attention and tried calling the office again. While I was on the phone with my wife, someone finally came to the door. I explained we had a 2: 30 appointment. She explained the office was closed due to an unforeseen emergency and the doctor was not in. She then told me they had no way of contacting us to let us know the appointment was cancelled and needed to be rescheduled. I knew my wife had provided all the patient and insurance payment information at the time the appointment was set AND since my wife was on the phone with me at that moment, I put her on speakerphone to talk to the office staff personnel. The staff person insisted they didn't have our info and then my wife asked what they did with the information she provided them and the medical records that were faxed to their office 5 days ago. How do you run a client/ patient centered medical practice without properly documenting the patient/ client's information for setting appointments and managing their medical records? Unbelievable! The office staff person proceeded to explain that we weren't the only ones affected and they had to cancel and reschedule 60 other appointments. Was that supposed to make me feel better that they didn't do their jobs properly and mishandled/ mismanaged my son's patient information and medical records? Really!? ! Please get a clue before you respond to an upset potential client / patient.

_Call_ to make an appointment - I set up an appointment through their website using "Zocdoc" weeks ago. Morning of the appointment I received a notice that there was an issue with my appointment. I called and found out that there were no appointments available (not sure how it happened). They could reschedule me.in about 2 months.

An unfortunate series of events. The zocdoc text message with address to practice provides directions to a personal residence. Realizing I was going to be late after arriving at said personal residence, I attempted to call the practice to inform them I would be late, only to be queued for 15 minutes with no one answering my call. After finally arriving at the practice, I learned that zocdoc was supposed to notify me to stop allergy meds five days before appointment, so testing could be conducted. I didn't receive that information from zocdoc. So after taking a half day off from work, driving to the wrong location, and waiting on the phone for 15 minutes, I left the practice without treatment, because the allergy testing was not possible having continued taking my allergy meds. I will say, the receptionist was very nice and tried to rectify the unfortunate series of events.

Dr. Annie is incredible. She took the time to listen and hear me out when I explained my symptoms. She also thought of a diagnosis than several other doctors did not even mention. She is kind and compassionate but knows what she is talking about! Highly recommend!

I had been getting allergy injections for many years at another office. That office also has ENT doctors who treat sick patients. I never was comfortable sitting in a reception room with people who were obviously ill, but it was even more uncomfortable when COVID-19 hit.
I decided to make an appointment at Allergy & Asthma Specialists, since they only treat allergies and asthma. I was lucky enough to be scheduled with Dr Desai for testing. She is a dream! She was friendly, kind, and honest. She was up-front about the cost of new serum, and that there was no guarantee that I would be helped by continuing with injections. I had met my deductible for the years, so I decided to see if they could get the serum approved within a couple of weeks. They got it done!
I've had great experiences with the staff that is there on Thursdays. They are friendly and efficient.
I'm glad that I made the switch. I'd highly recommend Dr Desai and this practice. They take a lot of care to keep their patients safe. There hasn't been more than one other person in the reception room while I wait after my injection. It might be different at busier times of the day, but so far, this has been my experience.

I called to set an appointment to be tested for allergies related to dermatitis of the hands. They quickly scheduled me, which was great, but when I got there for the appointment the Dr came in and told me they don't test for what I needed testing for. I wasted my time and copay to have literally nothing done for me.
