4This was a good backpacking experience. Nifty views of some hills and rocks. A short stroll along the creek. Its a great loop trail that is worth visiting if you're starting out backpacking and looking for an enjoyable overnighter. Camping areas seem limited for its size.not a lot of even ground unless you're at the creek area or the parking lot. I'll be back for sure to enjoy it in some other seasons.
Moderate trail with some very pretty geography. Couple spots with some blowdown and there are points where the trail markings leave something to be desired. Great day hike with some really nice spots for camping if you're looking to do some backpacking.
6.5 miles on large loop.moderate trail with some steep hills and valleys. Nothing to worry about. Takes 4 hours or less to complete 6.5 miles with some mud and water crossing. Easy day hike!
I went with a group of friends during March while it was still snowing. This is a really fun and exciting trail. The geography is awesome and there are many rock features along the trail that make it exciting and unique. The trail takes around 3-4 hours at a slower pace. The elevation gain isn't too harsh. If recommend downloading an offline map of the region before heading out as cell converge is weak and the trail at some locations isn't that well marked. Great day hike!
