Service was great from start to finish! Received a call from a tech within minutes of contact. My furnace went and after the consult they had it installed the very next morning. Brett was professional and explained everything before and after the new install of my new furnace. Highly recommend. 100% satisfied.

So far I have been very pleased with my experience with Allied Mechanical & Electric Company! It starts with the phone call to schedule appointments, some being an emergency, and then when they are in my home! They are very knowledgeable and keep my furnace running (with more efficiency than before) and water heater ordered and installed in no time (even during COVID)!

I have a heat pump that quit working last Friday. The techs came and determined it needed a part ordered. They gave me a ballpark of $700. I said yes knowing it could be higher or lower. They put temp fix so I could have cool air.heat pump quit yesterday. I called this friday to find out where my part was. Was informed I needed a quote first. So now I have to wait until sometime next week to get my pump repaired. A full week or more without air conditioning in August in the middle of a heat wave. Why was this quote not sent out on Monday?

My heating system was causing a CO2 problem. And I had to make a change to my heating source. Contacting several installers, but getting the runaround. I contacted Allied Mechanical, and was directed to Trevor Kephart. I explained my situation, he was quick to setup an inhome survey as well as being early on the time scheduled. Trevor and another gentlemen, which I apologize can't recall his name, took measurements and asked questions. They left assuring me of a quote as quick as possible, but Trevor mentioned the installation would be in January.
I understood, and told my wife, it could be 4-6 weeks.
My surprise came after signing the documents to get everything setup.
Trevor extended himself greatly, he was able to have the installation scheduled for December 21st.and 22nd. We were elated!
The install team of Hunter and Milton Owens, were TOP NOTCH!
They were able to complete enough of the installation, so the air handler portion of the Bosch unit could produce heat the first night!
The second day, the installation was completed.
This was my first experience with Allied Mechanical, and it was great!
From Trevor going the extra mile, to make the install happen promptly.
To the very PROFESSIONAL installation. We are very pleased. The team at Allied were very knowledgeable of their product, and took great pride in their work. THANK- YOU VERY MUCH.
Warm again in West Decatur)

I just got off the phone with Todd and I'm feeling so grateful for their amazing customer support and service, I had to leave this review. They installed an HVAC system at the end of summer and a mistake happened in the install that resulted in HUGE electric bills for me. I called as soon as I saw my outrageous bill and they send someone out right away to check it out and fix it. They also reimbursed me for the excess amount on my electric bills with no questions asked! Thanks Allied and Todd! You rock!:)

Former Employee of 9 days here. Take my word as much as you dare. I was hired in June for a Lead HVAC installer (less than 1 year experience and several years had lapsed) working under Trevor, training under Brett Lyle (who also left a 5 star review, feel free to see for yourself) for EIGHT DAYS! Eight days is all it took to see how this company is run and rage quit. I started while the entire Install department (3 other techs at the time) were installing a new setup in a commercial building in Loch Haven. At first, life was decent. By day three things had changed, I was promised a company van and a couple other things but kept getting the run around while my kids were stranded and I'm using a loaner car while standing my wife at home because of the lip service done by Trevor. Day 7 and 8 were great mornings, but horrible afternoons. Brett would be fine until after lunch and would destroy any work that didn't meet his very fluid requirements. Day 9 was the fateful day that Brett destroyed my work from the morning and I nope'd out. He may have been with them for many years, but this man is dangerous. He happily states he goes on escapades over the weekends, gets drunk, and drives while tired and under the influence. If he comes to your house, make sure you check up on him as he litters and will trash the general area. The management gives way too much of a leash and has no follow up with the techs. It's very much a "good old boys" system at Allied.

It's hard to create quality work for a company that has a bare minimum mindset. I was lucky to get out before any of their "training" had affected my mindset. They deliver poor service at a high end price. They believe they can remove and install a complete three point system (Furnace, Coil, and outdoor unit) in four hours, which will be sloppy and unprofessionally done. Expect a company to do a full, professional, complete job in 8 hours minimum. They also hire minors and do not have them on a tight leash, the one in question had zero respect for authority and threatened when told "no".

This whole company is run fast and loose and customers bear the brunt of it. If I were you, steer clear. Very, very clear. Take my word as you see fit. I know my worth as a working person, and they didn't deserve me. If you're looking for a job, seek elsewhere. If you're looking for a reliable HVAC company, run away.
