The bare minimum in pay, benefits, and morale. Health insurance = $8K deductable and the average employee makes $30K.

I currently work for Allied universal security in Washington DC, I have been calling about my December 26,2019 pay check that I haven’t received. Nobody has called me back.

What to expect working for allied universal.

1. The Site manager not paying you correctly
2. Supervisor and Site mangers ignoring your phone call, text
3. Prepare to be removed from a site for doing your job
4. Disrespectful management, BEWARE, they hang up on you on the phone if you ever get the chance to talk to your site manager
5. No overtime, no raises. And don’t work overtime. Because if you work a minute of overtime they threaten your job

Is this job worth it? Hell no

Worst job experience ever.been waiting 2 weeks for a payroll correction managers and supervisors just lie to you and no one cares that u haven’t gotten paid yet they ignore all your calls and messages when asking for help but call u in for overtime

I worked in HR for this company. It is a big company, but is ran like a small mom and pop just starting up. I had unfinished projects handed to me when I first started, from 2 to 3 HRC's prior to myself. You will never have time to catch up on anything. The focus is recruiting, which is forced upon the Receptionist to do, or HRC's; so your main duties will be onboarding, and following the direction of recruiting (who does NOT get along with HR). The Corporate office (in state PA) is completely unavailible. They only have about 7 to 10 people who process payroll for the whole company.

You will be in charge of the "uniform program" that is pretty much a space were everyone and their momma's dump junck. I would advise you to take a look at the area when on interview. Also, look at the office or place you will be in. You will still see unfinised work at anyone of these branches, because this position has experience walk outs from the HRC's. You can and will express your conserns about many of things, but they will NEVER be addressed. You will drown in your work. The HRC roll is just a glorified Admin/Receptionist/Recruiter. Their has been so much turn-over in HR for ALL the branches because of these issue's. You will not be granted OT, because this company is trying to save all their money. Which is another reason why the Operation Mng's have not had raises in over 4 years. They are way below their suggested salaries for what they do. All of the employee's are.

You will have No work-life balance, no lunches and breaks, will not be paid for overtime. If salaried position is offered to you, you will work more OT than what is legal. No structure or accountability from upper Management; you will expericence selfish and rude Operations Mng's, but only because they are over-worked and under paid. Branch Mng is not allowed to run his own branch. This company has high turnover, poor candidate pool (not professinals), HR policies are NOT enfourced here, because they are hidden from HR. If HR finds out, they are not able to act on correcting this, because, some accounts they manage, they do not want to loose; so they keep saying "we have to have a meeting about this issue".

Any position at this company will cause high stress. HRC roll really is 3 to 4 job titles rolled up in one. You will feel overwhelmed in this position. The job duties are unrealistic for ONE person to do.

SCARY

DO NOT HIRE ALLIED UNIVERSAL IF YOU DON'T WANT LAWSUITS. They will send some hateful, uneducated redneck to guard your business, then act like they don't know how it happened when said employee harms someone on your property.

This company employs white nationalists (racists!) and does nothing to address the safety issues such hiring practices might pose to the public. Their employee Charles Morgan Sowell in West Minster South Carolina participates in trolling, misinformation sharing, and the harassment of activists of color online.

It is unacceptable that someone with these kinds of social ties might be walking around wearing a badge of ANY kind and using the authority this company grants him to terrorize the public.

I'm white, but that doesn't mean I'm ok with seeing a security guard be openly racist all over the internet. It's SCARY to think this kind of person is walking around with a badge and an official security uniform.

Been waiting for almost a month for 1 payroll correction. Management lies to clients and employees. I've already gone to labor board, going to BBB next.

Its now a week later and still no paycheck, I've tried getting help from my local management as well as corporate management. ALLIED UNIVERSAL JUST DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES OR CLIENTS.
