Top notch customer service from the nicest people you will ever meet. I purchased a washer a couple of weeks ago almost as they were closing for the evening. Not only did they take it to my car and try to make it fit in the back seat of a Camry, when it wouldn't fit they waited at my car with me well past closing time until the person I called showed up with an SUV to get it to my place! Excellent prices as well. Highly recommend!

The store itself; selection and staff is amazing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the repair service. The gentleman stated he would be out that day, and never showed. I called the next day. He stated he called which was an out right lie. He said he'd then make it out that day. He never showed, or called, or text. When you relied on a repair that didn't show, and you lose your food. Nowadays, and always your word is everything. There are other companies in the area that are reliable.

My first red flag should have been how rude Armando was from the gate. He sold me a used washer and dryer that barely worked at first. The washing machine's drain like was full of leaves/bark and the dryer only worked for 10 minutes. Getting him to come in and do the warranty was like pulling teeth, he would tell me a time then an hour later I would call and he would tell me another time, this happened multiple times. I understand if you are busy and can't get to it in a few days but communicate that at least. After a few days he would straight up ignore my phone calls or hang up on me. By the grace of God he came to finally fix it several days later. Will never come back here again and I'd advise any potential customer to choose from the plethora of other appliance dealers here in Allentown

Terrible experience with these people. If I could give 0 stars I would. I had bought an oven from them and when I brought it home it started beeping an f10 code after the oven was on for some time. I called and explained the issue to them and they said to bring it to fix it. I brought it there and they kept telling me that they were testing the issue so they can fix it. But I already explained the f10 code and that it means the heat sensor for the oven is bad. So they didn't have to test anything they just had to fix it. After 6 hours of the oven being there they call me saying it's done. I ask them what was it they did and they just said it was fixed and to come pick it up. When I get there at 4: 15 I wanted to test it to make sure it's working fine and they didn't want to let me. They told me on the phone earlier that day they closed at 6. Then when I got there they said they closed at 5. The owner and his wife were in a rush to leave early so they tried saying they didn't have time test it. There was plenty of time to test it. I explained to them I understand but the oven was there almost all day and I paid for it so I would like to make sure it works fine so I don't have to come back. The owner says "I'm not talking about money" lol. As I was talking to them they were ignoring me and loading the oven. When I got home and tested it, it was still beeping the f10 code. I wasn't a customer there to cause problems or use them so I thought it was unprofessional as hell to literally argue with me and ignore the fact that I wanted to make sure it was fixed. Not only that but the husband/owner hung up on my boyfriend earlier that day because he was he didn't want to listen to him explaining the issue. Now I have to take it back a third and final time. Wish me luck lol.

BUYER BEWARE!
Almonte Appliance is selling non-working appliances with a manufacturer's warranty that may or may not be in effect.
In my case, the gas stove's oven did not heat up beyond 145°, we tried 3 times. Mr. Almonte said he would stop in to check it 2x and never called or showed.
I called Whirlpool for warranty service and they advised my warranty started 4/26/2021 when he purchased it "damaged" from Lowe's. I've lost 6 months of warranty, and will be buying extended coverage as a result.
Thankfully, it is repairable.
Do not take a chance with Almonte.
I will never shop there again!

Bought a washer first bad experience was on delivery the man was very rude, seem bothered and in a rush. Dropped it off didn't stick around to make sure it function probably. Called the store cause washer does not use cold water when set on cold setting all steaming hot water. Gentleman on phone rude asked if I had cold water hooked up and on. Which I do and response was well I can't come out today too busy and to call back Monday. Basically getting the run around. Do not buy from these people. Wish I would've read the reviews before spending my hard earned money.

I was at the store looking for a wash machine when the worker graciously asked me what was wrong with mine Unselfishly she suggested I get it repaired instead. Their worker came out and fixed it saving this grateful senor citizen hundreds of dollers. The repair man was professional & nice. Thank you.

Dryer is so far so good. Been here a couple times and picked up reliable used washer and dryers, gas stoves in the pass. And walked in this time got what I needed. They are very welcoming and attend to your needs quickly and always have people on hand to load up your purchase. Great prices as well I always recommend them to friends and family

Outrageous pricing for refrigerators, even ones that are older and banged/scratched up! You're better off buying brand new ones in perfect condition.

Worst place to buy appliances, everyone be aware of their scam. They will offer you warranty the next day I installed my dishwasher it didn’t work, I called them they told me to contact the warranty company and ask them to fix it which they asked for $100 deductible. They will deliberately sell you a broken appliance then throw you under the bus, it was only a day old and I tried to replace it they told me no and wouldn’t offer me a refund so I had to spend an extra $100 to get it fixed. It’s better to buy from a trusted vendor like Home Depot, Lows or Best Buy, will cost you exactly the same but with much better quality and service

Worse place buy "new" 2 months after dryer stop working, suppose to have warranty they asking 80 dollars to fix it don't buy here

This is the worst. We bought a second hand used fridge for 800 dollars only for this man to tell us that nothing was wrong with our fridge. This fridge we have had for less than 2 weeks has broken down twice and won’t keep our food cold. We spent 700 dollars cash on food and for nothing because half our the stuff went bad. We contacted people to fix it and he came in for 5 minutes argued on the phone with my mom and said nothing was wrong with it when clearly all of our meats were defrosted in the freezer and it was blowing out hot air. Please don’t ever come to this place. Last but not least he had ice made in the ice dispenser claiming it works but it does not. It was for show.

Today I called to get a price check on a washer, the man who answered the phone did not want to give me any prices or tell me what they have. When I asked about what washers they do have, his response "lady your going to have to come in, not giving prices". All he had to say was we have too many to give prices over the phone, but maybe if you give me an exact item number I can see if we have it. Like that would have been so much better. Unfortunately I will not be going there due to the lack of customer service. Customer service is everything.
