Al's Pizza reviews
17Call order a half cheese n pepperoni pizza and cheese fries, cheseee fry we’re ok, pizza very cold looks like to pizza we’re put together to make one, when order said about an hour but showed up within 20 mins which was great service but the food just isn’t what it used to be very disappointed
Best of the Al's Pizza places. Hampden has more beer, but I'm in it for the food and this place is the BEST.
I have this weird love-hate relationship with Al’s.
Love the convenience, taste and speed of Al’s.
Eating in is … average. Wine list is non-existent, sorry, we drink wine with pizza. The ambience is ok, typical for central PA. Service is utilitarian. So, it’s good pizza/bar food if that’s what you’re jones-ing for! Just don’t consider this a first date place… unless you’re just hungry and not looking for another date.
We ordered from here yesterday and this is the 2nd time we have received food poisioning from this establishment. Not to mention the last time we ordered a chicken caesar salad, the chicken was so dry and overcooked it was unedible. We won't be ordering from here anymore.
Great food and service. Plus Having brews and a dine-in buffet also doesn't hurt either.
I love AL’s and make a point of stopping in whenever I’m passing through Harrisburg, which is several times a year. Pizza and Beer.
Literally best meats in the area, quality and quantity.i called them thinking they were some other place (i was drunk, sue me) they hooked me up with the exact sub i wanted, didn't know until i was eating it.all thumbs up.i had a customized italian.i recommend stuff with turkey and ham.
Don’t order a taco salad - they’ll instead give you nachos. Then when you try to rectify the situation (seeing as you didn’t get what you ordered), Jessica will give you the worst customer service. No wonder this place has so many bad reviews.
Great local pizza place. They have a lot of beers on tap, and a lot of coolers with bottles/cans. Great service.
Easily on my top 5 restaurants in PA. The cheesteaks are absolutely delicious! The pizza was so good and to top it all off they were very friendly. My husband and I travel through here twice a year and will be stopping every time.
It’s seems like the food is only correct and good on weekends. It’s a gamble on the weekdays.
Last time we ordered salads the lettuce was mostly wet and brown. Paid for extra chicken. Didn’t get it. They didn’t even write which box was supposed to have it.
This time ordered wings, it came with no sauce, no ranch (paid extra for it too).
The grilled cheese wrap was ridiculous… the cheese was hardly melted and it was missing most of cheese, also missing ranch.
We do like the food here, but it’s annoying that it’s great one time and the next it’s really bad. Not much consistency.
Best pizza hands down. Everything I have tried has been excellent! The price is right and the portions are large 3 slices is the size of half a large pizza.
Good pizza. I got veggie flatbread and my boyfriend got the pan pizza. We both enjoyed the pizzas
Updating my review - picked up a pizza tonight. Got home 5 minutes later and the whole pizza looked like it was baked ages ago. Dry, hard crust, shriveled cheese pfft. Don’t know what’s going on but stop it! When you make fresh pizza it is excellent.
If you give out old pizza like this sorry I will not be back. Old review - Al’s has the best pizza in the area! Their crust is thick and crispy. Plenty of cheese and the sauce compliments all of it. The bar staff are always pleasant. And the shrimp jammers are awesome! Plus all very reasonably priced. Thank you Al’s of Enola!
Their sub rolls are made fresh daily. Their day old rolls you can buy for your next pasta night. Grilled chicken salad is Hugh. Can serve 2-4 people. Al's supports their local community. They rock!
Great location to meet up with friends and colleagues for drinks and a bite to eat. The Stromboli was excellent and is now my new favorite.
