Amazon Distribution Center PIT5 reviews
19DON"T WORK! You never know when they'll give you a break or let you out. Never let you know anything for the time schedule! WORST JOB EVER!
This is Amazon's time to fail. Poor employee conditions, price gouging, lies, greed, all in an effort to prove the owner is better than you. Stop giving the rich your money. Take away their power. Stop buying amazon!
I work there, lol. Old rail road factory converted to be a package distribution center. Amazon secrets inside, so just trust me, the magic happens, like.elves helping Santa.
Worked out of here over the holidays delivering packages and the staff here where always real nice.
They really care about the feelings and care of their customers. They try their best. Well it may just be my personal experience but they are exceptional in my opinion
Good facility. Employees seem to like it. Was here on an I. T.contract for one week migrating some equipment. Solid company.
A great place to work part time. This is a 24 hour facility, with plenty of shifts to choose from. Clean, safe, secure, great pay, and friendly management. Plenty of employee parking and public transportation is just walking distance away. Lots of shopping and eateries nearby, as well. This facility handles all Amazon shipments for Western Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.
All this building is a sortation center. Boxes come in on truckes are sorted in to routes then sent back out. There is no direct phone number, you have to be transfered from the main hotline number. And there is no inventory here and it is not the pick up center.
Terrible customer service. How do you mark a package as delivered by mistake, and then lose the package completely? ! Lazy, incompetent people, who shouldn't be getting anywhere near $11.75 an hour. So much for Amazon's good reputation.
I pass through there several times a day. They have some of the worse drivers around. They double park, park where there are no parking signs. I've had one pass me in a turning lane. They leave their car doors wide open. They don't care about the way they drive why would they care about your package.
I did a few runs out of this station and it is pretty good. The staff is generally helpful. Only downside is the loading can get congested.
While parking lots are generally great for Pokémon spawns, that is not the case here. While in the parking lot there is typically 2 Pokémon on the radar, but nothing there. Once inside the building nothing shows on the radar.
The Distribution Center where the Amazon Flex drivers go to pick up their packages for delivery
Next time when you deliver something, make sure you ring the freaking door bell and hand an item to a person! Not just throw it anywhere!
Not sure what there is to love or hate about a distribution center. It's a big building with a lot of garage doors and trucks.
When first started as Amazon Flex contractor it was great, but now I can't guarantee the future, when you look at the miles, before delivery and after before home or back to the warehouse. It doesn't add up. You end loosing.
Terrible place for employment, unless you like mismanagement, and no one who can agree on procedures or safety. Only one mgr.who would stick to his guns, and the site mgr.wouldn't listen to anyone.
I love working at Amazon! It's fast paced with every job having a distinctly important purpose.
