Ambler Theater reviews
20Great movies, great architecture, popcorn is fresh. Great sodas and coffee. Excellent movies
I love the Ambler Theater! You really get a sense of nostalgia watching movies in this vintage theater.
Beautiful restoration but the show was canceled last minute and the only choice was Seagull which was already started and just too long a (2: 44) run time
So lucky to have an incredible theater like this in my community! Friendly staff, great films, and delicious local coffee! The Ambler is the best place to see a movie!
They do not give their employees breaks or scheduled shift end times. I'm not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure that's some type of a legal violation. Even if it's not, it's messed up.
Love supporting local theaters. Staff was a bunch of young folks - a bit awkward, but friendly. Theater was comfortable, great screen and sound. Popcorn was meh, and overpriced as a result, but that’s become an expectation. Terrific independent theater.
This is a sweet old timey, non profit movie house. Saw an orchestra AND a movie. Comfy seats, great staff, and a wonderful experience.
Wonderful old movie theater, beautifully restored. Sound and seats were fine. Town is very nice with varied restaurants close to the theater. I took the train from center city and it felt like a one day vacation.
I really enjoyed it. Watched “Scream” before Halloween, the crowd was great and place was clean.
A wonderful theater that will take you back intome yet still with modern touches. The film choices are wonderful both from today and from the classic days of yesteryear. Treat yourself and go for it!
I love visiting this theater for all types of films! I love the variety of films they have and the special features they have as well. Favorite experience so far has been seeing When Harry Met Sally for valentines one year. Utilizing the membership I visit the Ambler theater and the Hiway theater several times a month. It’s awesome!
Staff was courteous and theater is a throwback in time. A lot of good restaurants in the area.
Old Indie theatre. Really good movies and old folk atmosphere. Enjoy their movie selection.
Great films, friendly staff, nice ambience and historic building. Lucky to have this in our neighborhood. ️
A beautiful old theater where membership is loyal. The choice of movies is excellent. I have been a member for 30+ years.
Amazing interior and exterior design. This theatre looks really great and I love the atmosphere inside so much! Great selection of movies. Comfortable seats, outstanding location. Great place, much better than many other theaters. Highly recommended.
Awesome old-school theater showing classic movies. Excellent sound, and great picture from the old projectors. Best place around to watch some classic noir thrillers.
I’m a member and love the small theater venue. Very interesting movies not usually seen at big box theaters.
I love this theater.
If you haven't been, go.
They honor the classics & embrace the new.
So good.
