AMC CLASSIC Camp Hill 12 reviews
21They never have the movies I see commercials for and want to see, like "Roadrunner" and "Queen Bees", I have to go to Hanover or some other place 20 something miles away to see the movies I want. But that place is always crowded. So I must be the only one who thinks that place sucks!
Nice seating. Clean. Good snacks. Just got stuck sitting behind a group of noisy people. Plenty of room to move around though if you get stuck sitting with undesirable noisy people
Expensive concessions, but nice chairs. Movie started ads 10 minutes later than it was supposed to start, then the screen glitched and showed random still shots of ads for a minute or two before skipping all of the previews and playing the movie. Was a confusing experience, but movie played without issue. Would have been nice if the lights came back up after the credits were done; tripping over popcorn bags and sodas trying to leave in the dark was not fun.
Seat felt small and leaned forward slightly. It’s hard to maintain a reclining position. Also popcorn wasn’t the best. I really wanted this place to be better for my go to but I’ll have to find another place.
Nice, friendly service from the cashiers. Could have used a little more AC in the theatre and it smelled a little bad in there. Change the mop water. Some Febreeze.
They're food is so expensive and not good. A few of us threw out snacks away. The theater is looking run down and needs some freshening up. The staff was very new, but very nice and trying their hardest.
Had already purchased tickets my mom had all of them.came out to get pizza and was accused of not paying for the movie.i did not have my ticket on me but my mother did.thought staff was a little rude to someone w a disability.
Came to see the the Quiet Place 2. Prices for snacks, popcorn are expensive compared to other theaters on top of that they’re chairs we’re not comfortable at all. Unfortunately not worth my 40 min drive but wanted to try it out.
The pretzel bites I ate were pretty good. Movie theature wasn't that crowded which was a good thing. The movie tickets were not that bad either.
We showed up 20 minutes early for a 4: 15 showing. Everyone was forced to snake their way thru a line for tickets, concessions, etc.so if you're concerned about social distancing, then this is not a welcoming attempt at it. We got into our seats shortly after the "start" time. Over 20 minutes later, the previews finally ended and it was showtime. The crowds were minimal so it was easier to practice mitigation efforts in the theater. I will also applaud the staff for addressing those unmasked in the lobby. There is room for improvement to earn a better rating but I don't think I will be back if that line issue persists.
Do not go to AMC Classic Camp Hill 12!
They do not have soda machines that work. All you can get is water, lemonade, or ice tea. The ice tea will just be tea because there ac is broken. It was cooler outside then in the theater. My wife’s Reece’s pieces melted because it was so hot.
There were no warnings on the front door about the ac being broke or the vending machines not working.
When I went to look for a manager there was none to be found and the attendees walked away or didn’t acknowledge that I needed help!
Worst Theater ever!
Don’t go!
AMC was very good but the reason I'm giving it 3 out of 5 stars was because they demanded that I wear a mask when the CDC clearly states that if you are completely vaccinated you don't have to wear masks. AMC I suggest you look into this issue and update your mask mandate immediately!
Nice theater. I saw two films in the same theater today. Both were on the dim side. Also had to wait in the concession line with everyone for my online tickets which makes online tickets much less convenient.
Went to see the demon slayer movie with my siblings. It was really great and the theater was nice- Very clean and open. I only took off a star because we couldn't figure out how to check in, having bought tickets online.
Would of gave it a 5. But before we left I was being told how my mask was not allowed due to their regulations. I wear this mask all the time at work and everywhere I go. So what's the problem?
Covid regulations not enforced. Patrons where sitting in seats that where meant to be left open for the minimum 6 feet (even after an employee was told about this).
The absolute worst rollout of any company for this virus, not that any was needed at all. But no regards for vaccined people, no online ticket alternatives. AMC is the star of all the hypochondriacs that have been ousted in the past few years.
As a 26yo, healthy, vaccinated male, I see no reason why I need to wear a mask or even socially distance. Seeing as every medical study shows those don't do anything.
They are open and practicing social distancing. Pre-order tix and food online. Everything was waiting for us when we arrived.
We went to the theater last evening and had a good experience. Staff was grateful we were there and very friendly, concession area was clean, wipes were conveniently located and the theater was clean and rows were spaced. We were happy that the theater was at a good temperature too on such a cold night. We felt safe.
I'm so glad this theater is still /re-opened! I've missed going to the movies. I only wish Hollywood would start actually releasing product!
